Now they are coming for Old Glory. That's right. The new radical chic position is to discard the American flag. Such radicals don't want to burn it a la the 1960's. Nope. They want to actually replace it. Grammy-award winning author Macy Gray called for getting rid of that dear symbol of our nation in a column published on the pages of not The Nation but Dow Jones' Marketwatch:
The Confederate battle flag, which was crafted as a symbol of opposition to the abolishment of slavery, is just recently tired. We don’t see it much anymore. However, on the 6th, when the stormers rained on the nation’s most precious hut, waving Old Glory — the memo was received: the American flag is its replacement.
President Biden, Madame Harris and members of Congress: the American flag has been hijacked as code for a specific belief. God bless those believers, they can have it. Like the Confederate, it is tattered, dated, divisive, and incorrect. It no longer represents democracy and freedom. It no longer represents ALL of us. It’s not fair to be forced to honor it. It’s time for a new flag.
Incorrect? Let’s look to the stars. There are 50, where there should be 52. D.C. and Puerto Rico have been lobbying for statehood for decades. Both have been denied, since statehood would allow each territory’s elected officials seats in the house.
Assuming D.C. reps would be African-American and Puerto Rican reps would be Hispanic, the ultimate assumption is that these elected officials would be Democratic. That alone is racist.
On to the stripes. The Smithsonian documents that the “white” stripes represent purity and innocence. America is great. It is beautiful. Pure, it ain’t. It is broken and in pieces.
What if the stripes were OFF-white? What if there were 52 stars to include D.C. and Puerto Rico? What if the stars were the colors of ALL of us — your skin tone and mine — like the melanin scale? The blue square represents vigilance and perseverance; and the red stripes stand for valor. America is all of those things. So, what if those elements on the flag remained? What if the flag looked like this?
In 1959, 17-year-old Bob Heft designed the current flag for a school project when there were only 48 states. Hawaii and Alaska were up for statehood and Bob had a hunch they’d get the nod. He crafted a NEW flag with 50 stars for the then-future, because things had changed.
Sixty-two years later, in 2021, we have changed and it’s time for a reset, a transformation. One that represents all states and all of us.

You can call me crazy as I don't give a shit, but I do believe that this countries time is limited. Rome began as a Kingdom. The Kingdom became a Republic. The Republic became an Empire, then it disappeared. We, in my opinion, have entered the Empire aspect and we will live with Fascism until taken over, and yes the flag will go. I remember young Macy, she's the one that was tasked with singing the national anthem some years back, forgot the words, and laughed about it. By her words it's clear that it's all about race with her, at least she doesn't disguise it.

It is healthy when we are not surrounded by people with the same opinions. We should be challenged on some of our thoughts and beliefs, otherwise we will never grow. This country was founded on individualism. That individualism is protected by the supreme law of the land, our constitution. Under this constitution, I am an entity with inalienable rights. Your kind would do away with my individualism, using the very government whose only purpose, under the constitution, is to secure my rights. How do I know this? Your kind has a history. Every collectivist government, in history, has abused the rights of the people they ruled. There isn't any such thing as a benevolent dictator.

That flag was a rallying point, as every military flag is. That flag doesn't ask a question, it makes a statement. It's saying this is where you should be if you are fighting for this cause. There wasn't a draft, or conscription. Every man and woman that supported the move for independence did so as an individual, and with their life on the line.
Those individuals came together at the rallying point, the flag of those 13 colonies, to do battle. That flag came to be known as the rallying point for those that love their individualism, that pursue life, liberty, and pursue happiness. Your kind would twist that, even now trying to do so.
