John Adams, second president of the United States said, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
Last week a friend bemoaned the lack of a dependable news source, writing, “I wish there were an outlet that not only presented complete, objective, factual news, but also made an unbiased, good faith attempt to point out the probable pros and cons of various positions and programs.”
A few days later podcaster Darryl Cooper, aka Martyr Made tweeted a long thread of facts validating Trump supporters’ distrust of media and the political establishment. He wrote, “To begin with, the FBI and other intelligence agencies spied on the 2016 Trump campaign using evidence manufactured by the Clinton campaign. We now know that all involved knew this evidence was fake from Day One….” He cites a declassified memo from former CIA director John Brennan dated September 2016.
The Trump-Russia collusion story was completely fabricated from the beginning and perpetuated by the media and political establishment for four years. This is a huge deal for Trump supporters and should be a big deal for any “moral and religious people.”
Cooper cites the following facts: 1) “That the fraudulent Steele Dossier was the sole evidence used to justify spying on the Trump campaign, 2) That the FBI knew the Steel dossier was a DNC op, 3) That Steele’s source told the FBI the info was unserious, and 4) That they did not inform the [FISA] court of any of this and kept spying.”
Some might say they were shocked to find corruption in the government. That’s not what broke the confidence of Trump supporters. Cooper pointed out, “The behavior of the corporate press is really what radicalized them. They hate journalists more than they hate any politician or government official, because they feel most betrayed by them. The idea that the press is driven by ratings and sensationalism became untenable.”
He continued, “Trump supporters always claimed the media had liberal bias. Fine, whatever: they still thought the press would admit truth if they were cornered. They don’t think that anymore. It’s a different thing to watch them invent stories (out of) whole cloth in order to destroy regular lives and spark mass violence.” And, that’s exactly what the corporate press did.
Article I, Section 4, Clause 1 of the Constitution declares: “The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof….” But, Cooper notes, “establishment governors took advantage of COVID to change voting procedures. It wasn’t just the mail-ins: they also lowered signature matching standards, got rid of voter ID and notarization requirements, and much more.” These moves were blatantly unconstitutional albeit silenced by corporate media, censored by big tech, and sanctioned by the government establishment.
Those on the LEFT, even some “independents” are incapable of seeing these truths because they don’t align with “the narrative” of the LEFT. The rest of us need to keep on pointing out the truth and not allow narrative lies to stand unchallenged. The LEFT is trying to overthrow America by cancelling opposing points of view.
Benjamin Franklin said, “Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freeness of speech.”

Kingfish note: New News source? May I suggest Breaking Points?

Whoever is in power will always manipulate as much media as possible. Fortunately they can't manipulate everybody. Same is true for liberals and conservatives. One side or another controlling ALL the media never happens in this republic even if some fanatic insists on it. The problem is our inherent intellectual laziness. We want someone we trust to tell us what is true and what is false without analyzing both sides ourselves. We deny information from those we do not trust even when they are sometimes right. Liberals lie, conservatives lie. Search for the truth.
KF, your suggestion would be more helpful to someone acting in good faith as opposed to this author
Why is the Left referred to here as "establishment government, establishment governors and corporate media"?
"Establishment and corporate" are too mild for terms describing the marxist revolutionaries of the Left, including a majority of federal bureaucrats, news outlets and most Democrats, who push daily the creation of a brutal regime to strip our rights and freedom.

You’re going to have to come up with a better martyr than Donald Trump. I mean.. really??
Yada Yada, the bullshit posted above simply demonstrates the number of egotists that reply to these threads.
Blog and news readers DO NOT want independent and unbiased news stories or broadcasts devoid of opinion. They think they do, but they (we) don't.
All we want is to read something that agrees with OUR individual notion of truth and fact and validates us. Period!
Thanks Kingfish, you brought back the old propaganda chief this week. We love him, he is such a comic.
Publishing this loon totally discredits this blog.
2:52 - Please name the last conservative/republican president who either tried to or successfully controlled the media. I think you have the whole thing backwards. In large part, the media controls the president and they pander to each other...at least with a democrat in the white house.
Breaking Points is on Youtube? What is the life expectancy of a program like this on a platform such as youtube which routinely shuts down any discussion that is not in line with the approved narrative?
Already have half a million subscribers. They got tired of corporate control so they left The Hill and went out on their own. Not even a month when they hit that level of subscribers. The Hill's traffic on Youtube plummeted.
Actually, they are on their own supercast platform. Subscription based.
To paraphase Ronald Reagan, " There D.L. goes again!".
Where on earth is he syndicated? I've never seen such a consistent inability to selectively pick quotes out of context or irrelevant comparisons published by any respected publisher.
Once upon a time, publishers refused to print jibberish and pretend it had relevance. My understanding is they thought it dishonorable not to separate fact, fiction and omit opinions without any logical foundation. And, that when the clinically mentally ill were locked in the family attic and institutionalized! They weren't elected to office!
_______kingfish thanks for publishing this cherry-picking right-sided self-serving article. This is just the thing that 55% of we Mississippians want to make all the sane people across the country believe. Wow! Kind of looks asinine when it’s wrote down, wow!
1:28 I wonder if that’s why he’s published irregularly. Seems like he’s missing a few screws and I wonder if he just doesn’t go missing in the Q forest every now and then.
Daniel is the test case that proves we need universal healthcare. If someone like him was able to get the help he needed, think of all the people who would benefit by not being exposed to his delusions. The same thing happens a million times over on Facebook every day. We have got to find a way to help these people.
