The first thug with a gun would’ve been dropped without knowing what hit him, and the second one would have been 1-2 seconds later. While I really like this blog, it's privately owned which is good for KF, but not for all opinions, especially those that are brutal and to the point.

The best way not to solve anything is to not allow everyone a seat at the table.

These young thugs live the lives of predators. Race almost never enters into their thinking when planning crime, only Weakness and Opportunity. They respect nothing and no one, black or white, rich or poor. They see unsuspecting victims who take safety for granted in the Belhaven area so they go there. In some other parts of the metro it's not worth the effort or the possible retaliation. You must never show weakness. Truth.

The families targeted in this incident, didn't look or sound particularly "woke", to me. I'm totally the opposite of "woke", but used to own property there. We lived in one unit, and rented the rest. We could easily have remained there. And, had we not prospered, we might have become STUCK THERE.

Plenty of families have deep roots in Belhaven, and have resisted moving, for that reason. FEW of those people are "Woke". Possibly, you're a social outsider, to the point where you don't know any Belhaven people. Or maybe you're writing from out-of-state. Otherwise, it's hard to imagine your not knowing what sorts of people live in Belhaven.

It's a nice neighborhood, still full of very nice people (and a very few loudmouth Yankee troublemakers - not unlike the creature who prevented the gating of Gamwyn Park/Wilzin Park, in Greenville).

If for example, you had 2 grocery stores side by side (kind of like Hinds and Rankin Counties are),
and 1 of the grocery stores had lower food prices (taxes),
and higher quality food (roads, lower crime, etc.),
and friendly employees and management (you get the picture by now).

But the other was a crappy grocery store with higher food prices, lower quality food and unfriendly employees and management…

And you, and enough other customers, for some crazy reason, kept shopping at the crappy grocery store anyway, then why in the world would the crappy grocery store ever need to change i.e. be salvaged?

As a participant on a Mississippi Politics Facebook page, I can name (for you) at least fifteen black participants who exhibit serious racism toward white participants on the page. At least two of them are active LEO, one is a former mayor of Jackson, one is a preacher and several constantly push the 'I hate white people' agenda, not even cleverly disguised. Some of them, including the former mayor, have left the page...voluntarily or otherwise. So, quit with the nonsense that black people are 'not out to get' white folk. That's as stupid as claiming there was no voter fraud in the presidential election.

The reason Kingfish drags up just shy of identifying the problem and suppresses the efforts of others to do so is this: He knows he has readers and posters that represent various races. He's also close-up with a number of folk of other races. He knows his circle and his readership will shrink if he gets to the root or allows others to.

There are many die-hard folks who love Jackson; however, their little "circle" is shrinking daily. I saw a different family that has long been die-hard put their house in Fondren up for sale this week. They are growing weary and want better for their families.
