A new judge has not yet been assigned to the case. Warnock is scheduled to go to trial on June 9.

NOW, FINALLY, the case can go to trial.
The last impedient to trial has been removed
Rudy looking for a deal in 3, 2, 1...
Congrats! You invented a new word - impedient.
My man Rudy. Yet another continuance so the new Judge can get up to speed. You go boy.
Suprise!
I don’t know if he took funds or not, but he has probably spent a lot more in legal fees dragging this thing out.
I hope the case is assigned to Judge Jordan.
1:07 PM, there’s nothing many if not most judges and lawyers love more than delays. Keeps the meters running.
There is no justice system for most of us, it’s the churner/ legal fee generation system. But if you’ve got a lot of money, “dragging this thing out” is almost always a rewarding tactic.
1:07, he took funds. No argument about that. Question is whether he did it legally.
Does anyone know who represents the plaintiff?
Rudy needs to give up a Canton/Madison Co. politician or two.
Try to keep up. Rudy is not accused of 'taking funds'. He bribed people.
that would be lovely, but how do you see such testimony being allowed if not germane to this case?
Are four more continuances coming, so Rudy's lawyers can tailor their strategy to the weaknesses of a new judge?
Serious Dan is the man

In a criminal case, lawyers usually either work on a flat-fee, or bill for the time they spend working.
I have never heard of a lawyer getting paid based on the time from arrest to verdict, except in online comments from people who hate the U.S. legal system and/or don't know any better.
12:41 PM, Please! You’ve never heard of OJ Simpson? What rock have you been living under? Is there anyone out there remotely stupid enough to think there’s not two legal systems; one for those with money, and one for those without?
And in civil cases its even worse. One local case just recently settled after 8 years, and guess who won? Hint: it wasn’t the plaintiff or defendant. Another case is in limbo after 7 years because the judge won’t do his _______ job, and both parties have pretty much given up, wishing they have never tried to seek so called “justice,” due to the cost.
The only people that don’t hate the U S legal system, are the one’s benefiting from it, or people that “don't know any better.”
Henry Wingate is the worst federal judge in America and is not even capable of trying this case! He has tons of old cases!!
@10:24 PM Not trial testimony, but rather grand jury testimony.
2:05: Your references are meaningless without citations to the actual cause numbers.
There is a tool to force judges to rule on cases. It's called a writ of mandamus, and I've used it before.
The people who really hate the American legal system are Putin, Xi, Khamenei, wannabe dictators, and their minions, because it is the backbone of American freedom.
It isn't perfect, but it's ours. Go home to Mother Russia. I'm sure you will experience a perfect justice system once you get there.
12:39 PM – a typical narcissistic know it all attorney response. Someone points out flaws within the fee churners, lazy _____ judges US legal system, and he/she says “go home to Mother Russia?” Bwahahahahaha. Likely too in the box dumb, to know how dumb that sounds.
