These the same guys that have been involved in other auto burglaries in Jackson/Madison over the past month>?

Madison county should have license plate readers on every street and I-55 that enters the county.

@1:44
Rankin County SO has cameras on every road that leads into Rankin from Jackson

I believe that Madison has dozens of LPR's throughout the City. Most suburbs have them at the entrance of their City.

They found out the hard way that Madison PD doesn't suffer fools easily. Book 'em Danno! Judge Roy Bean is waiting.

Kentario and Marcavious must not be sharpest knives in the kitchen drawer.

Most Crystal Springs and Clinton yoots are close enough to the "so called metro" ... that they realize such plans will never end well in Madison County.

1:44 the City has at least one that I've seen located
on Highland Colony just north of Madison ave
I'm sure they have others ,but I just haven't looked for them

All Jacksonians are immediately suspect if they enter into Madison or Rankin County. There needs to be a checkpoint: what is the purpose of this trip and how long are you intending on staying?

Ruh roh, no catch and release in Madison county fellas. Hope that couple grand bounty was worth 10 years.

Those outstanding yoots didnt realize that they would have had easier picking sin Jackson v. Madison....duh !

1:44 Cool! How do I find these? Do they have a blinking blue light along with a sign that says "License Plate Reader"?

Anonymous said...

There is license plate readers on Magnolia Street coming into Madison.

If this were in Jackson, they would not send a unit out. Particularly Belhaven where they are or soon will be “self policed.”

This can't be right. Those are not Kindergarten pictures.

I live down the street from where the car was stolen. According to our neighborhood phone text, the owner left her keys in the car. That's bad and stupid enough, but then neighbors on the phone text started admitting that they leave their keys in their cars and also leave their houses unlocked. How stupid can you be. Madison is a safe place to live thanks to the MPD, but it's located within a stones throw from a very high crime area. Many of my neighbors live in a dream world.

"Pride du jour" wine/vodka,and back room "medical marijuana" seem to be the only reason the Belhaven home owners have weekly neighborhood meetings.

At least that's my impression after attending three of their meetings.

4:43 while I agree with your statements, just think how many times they’ve checked and come upon locked cars and moved on. Probably more than you want to know. That means these guys are going riding and walking around jiggling handles in the night until they find one. Walking around your neighborhoods and in and out of garages and driveways. That’s the scary part. What if you had to leave in the middle of the night and these guys were in your yard or next door? Possibly end badly.

Well I guess a small dent in crime is better than none at all. However auto burglary will most probably be a slap on the wrist unless they can pin other break ins. Even in a tough county poor ole criminals gotta eat too.

Good to see someone doing law enforcement in Madison County.

Really!? LMAO!!!!

I thought y'all were packing pistols out there in "Madison"? What are you so scared of?

You jokers are as soft as Charmin

I see the problem here. They were likely very aware that Madison County doesn't tolerate this type of criminal behavior.

But being products of the JPS (at least up to about 4th grade), their reading ability is challenged, and thus couldn't read the "entering Madison County" signs.

Isn't Bates the basketball superstar from Hillcrest Christian?

I agree. Everyone with a Hinds county tag should be shot on sight when outside the boundaries of their county.

8:49 - Please feel free to try out your theory in person. 99% of the citizens of Madison have never shot anybody, but, 80% of them are willing to. Gauge your odds and come on up.

Like I said soft as Charmin, you need pistols cause you can't throw them hands.

How the hell does that sound? Everyone with a Hinds county tag should be shot on sight when outside the boundaries of their county

All people in Hinds County get to carry the badge of criminal, but we can't label you bastards in Madison racist? How rich, LOL!!!

Pot meet kettle

2:33 - Most of this country do what it gotta do to keep you people civilized. If you can't follow the rules, you get reeled in. Reeled in means either incarcerated or buried. Give the embalmer your measurements.

2:33 PM I live in Madison I ain't rich. I live outside the gates. I drive an old beat up Pontiac Grand Prix with 275000 miles. If this makes me racist you can't do anything about it.

@ 4:15

Sounds like you are cool people, you are welcome to come to the BBQ in Virden Addition, LOL!

Just don't bring no Pabst Blue Ribbon or Natural Light with you

2:33 Clearly you are not familiar with this little thing some of the learned folks outside Jackson like to do called sarcasm.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
