The Madison Police Department issued the following statement.
On March 17, 2025 after 5:00pm, the Madison Police Department received a 911 call in the Fairfield Subdivision in regards to a house burglary where jewelry and cash were taken from the residence. Through the course of the investigation and a collaborative effort between all divisions of the Madison Police Department and local residents, we were able to identify several suspect vehicles that were involved in the crime. The next day, investigators were notified that one of the suspect vehicles was in the area of Ellijay, GA where Ellijay Police Department was notified and later located the vehicle.Officers with the Ellijay Police

suspects were then detained. Investigators with the Madison Police Department then traveled
to Ellijay, GA where they completed several search warrants with officers of the Ellijay Police

they were transported back to Mississippi where they are currently being housed at the
Madison County Detention Center.

the Madison County Grand Jury before District Attorney John ‘Bubba’ Bramlett.
The Madison Police Department would like to thank the Ellijay Police Department for their
commitment to justice as this case reached beyond state lines. We would like to also express a
job well done to the citizens for speaking up and being aware of their surroundings as this case
is an example of true teamwork between the officers and the community we serve.

I haven't been through Ellijay since 2010. I don't recall there being a large Hispanic population, but I just did a quick search and found that 30% is Hispanic. Interesting.
Is not burglary of a residence a crime?
If you come to Madison, Mississippi you will be staying at the Madison Inn which is prison for life.
She must be their entertainment.
Fabio appears to be the brains of this outfit-
These has to be more to this story. How do these foreigners pick one particular house in Fairfield Subdivision in Madison?
Ellijay has a great Cuban restaurant. I agree with above there is more to this. . .
I agree with @629. How do you go from GA to Madison MS to steal ? What is the connection?
6;29 is right. whats the connection?
Trump is 100% right in says illegal immigrants are coming to this country to commit crimes. This is just one example close to home. Lock down the borders & depot his criminal crew!
Probably hitting restaurant owners.
Same MO as Reunion burglary last year! Great job by everyone who assisted. Put them on a plane out of the US or lock em up with no parole eligible !
This should remind people to remove the photos from the real estate listings from any home that they have purchased. Zillow, Trulia, etc. You can have these removed via the listing.
@6:29, I’ll put money on the fact that the owners had a worker in their house at some point in the past (cleaner, roofer, contractor, etc) that relayed the information to these people. They probably have homes all over the southeast on their list to “hit”. No way 3 guys from the country of Columbia and one lady from New York randomly hit this house.
Is that City in GA a Sanctuary City? This is unreal as this is just where they were caught not to mention what else they got away with. Go Randy Tucker!
If a person wants to make a living as a thief, America has a place for him and welcomes him with open arms. Come, ye tired, ye poor, ye huddled masses, and sample the economic buffet that is America. You are our greatest strength.
They should get an all inclusive paid vacation to the Salvadoran mega prison.
Yall don’t come back now, ya hear.
Notice none of these "vacation burglars" hit homes in Jackistan?
Randy did nothing. Did you read the article?
@629 & 9:10. I believe ya'll are correct. Someone local, possibly housekeepers, are "casing the joint". A woman employed by a legit agency would be ideal. Few people feel threatened by a woman cleaning their house. Nobody wants to stand around watching their housekeeper, and many owners prefer to be absent while the housekeepers work. So, housekeepers go largely unnoticed through these homes. Taking notes/photos of property & security systems and passing it on to an accomplice would be easy to do.
I'm not saying this is happening. In fact, the vast majority of housekeepers are taking the only jobs they can find and busting their butts to make ends meet. I am saying that if I wanted inside information, that's how I would do it.
8:02 I was wondering when some critic would find a way to bring Jackson into this discussion. Thanks for nothing.
Randy’s men and women are always encouraged & supported by him. They drove to GA to bring criminals back. So YES he stands behind his & all LEO’s from other agencies. More than many others do. I stand by my statement!
Gene is a fine Police Chief in Madison! Great job!
This sounds very similar to the Bridgewater burglary last year.
@9:51. Ummm. This was Madison PD, not Madison SO.
A Mississippi politician, whose name and gender I won't share (but one of the very few honest ones - so that narrows-things-down to a very short shortlist), started investigating a town's ethnic eatery. That investigation revealed that the place was a one-stop money-cleaning/human-trafficking/drug-running/coyote/safehouse operation, which was PART OF A NETWORK, within Mississippi, of similar places. The farther that politician investigated, the farther the network extended.
Such establishments don't have to turn real profits to SHOW profits (thus, the cleaning of the money, plus all those other things). But when you dine in such places, you're still making things easier for them.
