How does suing a previous employer make this person unqualified? Organizations with strong ethics are very rare, there may be legitimate reasons for the suing. A local court may have been protecting a local interest (sound familiar?)

Police personnel in all ranks are steeped in quasi-military culture and discipline. Many of them ARE retired/former military. The lack of respect for a FEMALE commanding officer is well documented. That is a fact based on research. They've usually never been in a fire-fight, pinned down in a ditch, nor much less ever smelled/laid eyes on a burn pit. Ranking female Captains/Majors/Colonels greatly struggle with operational commands because they for the most part have been sitting behind a desk or attending meetings most of their careers. Charlottesvile? Compared to Jacktown? Really Mayor? Welcome to the Machine RaShall.
