Rankin County Sheriff Bryan Bailey issued the following statement.
An ongoing cooperative investigation combatting fentanyl has resulted in the arrest of a wanted drug dealer. On Sunday February 15, 2026, Rankin County Deputies along with Pearl Police Officers conducted a controlled purchase of fentanyl and suboxone from Kendall Wayne PEDEN. PEDEN was taken into custody and was transported to the Rankin County Jail. PEDEN was booked on the charges of Sale of Schedule II Controlled Substance and Sale of a Schedule III Controlled Substance. Both Charges are enhanced because PEDEN sold within 1500 feet of a church.
Once PEDEN was booked in the Rankin County Jail, deputies learned that he was wanted out of Arkansas. The Rankin County District Attorney ‘s Office will bring Kendall Wayne PEDEN before Rankin County Court Judge David Morrow for an Initial Appearance. Rankin County Law Enforcement will continue the cooperative effort to protect our citizens from the deadly threat of fentanyl.

Huh. Kinda surprised, since all the doctors and mathematicians I know also have full neck tattoos.
Can we go ahead and arrest everyone that has a neck tattoo?
He'll be offered a generous plea deal and a suspended sentence on top of that. This is Mississippi, after all.
Those neck tats must be unlucky!
Wrong county. Should have been dealing in Hinds.
All tattoos are a warning display that an individual has poor critical thinking skills. Some just warn you louder and sooner!
Neck Tattoo Theorem: persisting
This is prejudicial, stereotyping utter bullshit. If you said "all face tattoos", I might agree.

Thanks for making my point
Indeed, and facial tattoos strengthen that theorem.
Well, it is a definite sign of someone that makes really bad decisions.
