There is an art to bubble gum machine burglary. It takes a lot of pre planning and surveillance. You must scope out the machines that cost at least 25 cents per gumball. 50 cents per is optimal. Then you must locate tandem machines. Set side by side on one pedestal. Two separate machines on two pedestals are not nearly as easy to carry. Then get ready to spend lots of time doing recon. You want to get maximum return by getting these little gold mines when the candy stock is low meaning the quarter content is HIGH!
Looks like this man met all the criteria for an excellent heist. Time to call in the Feds. A crime of this magnitude could be seriously funding ISIS.
Sweet Tooth Magee strikes again
Well, well, thank you Kingfish for posting this video. I think I see this gentleman smashing the door and hotfooting away with the gumball machine. Yep, that's what it looks like, but I was confused by the Clarion-Ledger's report that this was an ALLEGED theft. And Police are looking for a man who appears to have broken into a local business to steal a gumball machine.
Was that also an alleged door he broke and an alleged gumball machine he stole?
All he needed to do was tap on it and say Tuscarora.
What's the proof that this wasn't a gumball machine repo?
Be missing those lease payments or be filling the machine with cheap gumballs from Dolla General and next thing ya know someone be wanting there machine back!
Totally legit - this was the vendor repossessing his equipment.
TUSCARORA for the win! Damn that was hilarious. (With apologies to Jed Clampett)
I don't how many people caught 11:25's reference to "Tuscarora" but I will say that 11:25 is a cultured and clever person. Excellent!
1:05 and 11:25 = same person
Buddy Ebsen would remember it was a hobo named David Brown who told Opie the magic word was Tuscarora.
That guy really has some balls.
