We are grateful to all parties involved for reaching a resolution and would like to thank the public for their patience during this time. Still gonna be a piss poor service.
This is great news. Do you know how long it takes to learn to drive a bus.
1. You have to learn to put a key in and turn it.
2. You need to know how to open a door.
3. You need to know how to stop at a red light.
4. You need to learn the difference between the accelerator and the brakes.
5. It helps to know how to read a map.
6. It must not be very hard because we have hundreds of drivers carrying school children every day.
I own a paid-off 2009 Nissan Frontier so I didn't even notice.
I knew the strike was over when I saw a totally empty JATRAN bus on Lakeland Drive this morning. It would probably be cheaper and more reliable to provide free Uber cards for the people that rely on public transportation in this city.
I walk the line-
I'm glad. There are many folks who rely on the bus to get to/from doc apts, pharmacy, work, job.
Did the Jatran workers get the right to remain working after they ran over someone or cause a wreck?
I like the Uber comment.. might make sense$
How bout an economic feasibility study . Cost to provide service vs #of riders
Uber might make sense and make riders feel more included…and save money
Uber riders could be paid a premium and money would still be saved!
"hooray!" -said all 8 daily JATRAN riders
