A hearing was supposed to be heard in Voyles v. Jackson Academy et al in Hinds County Court yesterday.
The hearing did not take place. The Court Administrator said:
This matter has been settled per both Attorneys.
This matter will not be on the docket.

Eddie is still an idiot and an embarrassment
Well damn. I was hoping to see more dirty laundry.
The over-arching theme of this Charlie Foxtrot?

Will any of these foolish, childish people learn lessons that serve them?

And I had my popcorn ready KF!
So the Voyles will not stop JA from destroying private education. What are we to do? All is lost. Great moaning and gnashing of teeth. Doom. Despair. Is this the end? The Book of Revelation says.....
This is completely off subject, but no other place to send. There have been 4 auto burglaries or attempts since February in the Education Center/St Andrews School/Abby Nord/Crane Park area. Excellent response by Capitol Police, at least 3 taken into custody, one early am this morning, caught within the hour after calling Capitol Police. Praise where due.
Another reason why this JA grad decided to send the kids to school somewhere else. No school is perfect, but JA can’t seem to make a good decision.
Of course not. It was never about that. It was about airing grievances in a public forum and maybe getting a little money in exchange for shutting up.
Is there any more info on this somewhere
The case did not settle. The Court Administrator is incorrect.
JA settled to keep the information private. Several donors didn’t want their names exposed. The QB wouldn’t have any friends if everyone knew his dad was paying for the recruits.
It's a big storm in a bedpan.
Time for people to move along.
JA is a great school. However, the decisions made by the Headmaster in this and other matters have definitely done some damage. The school is on solid footing, but needs different leadership.
I don't know how the Headmaster has survived this debacle, and I don't know why the other parents, even the ones who support the recruiting, aren't questioning his judgment and thus demanding a change.
9:53 Capitol Police FTW! Bo Luckey is running a tight ship. And frankly, the thugs are scared of Cap PD. Now, the problem is will the judge let those thugs go with a slap on the wrist?
Because most of us are glad that particular family associated with the lawsuit is gone.
