Todd Higgins continues to be a menace to The Fondren. Torching buildings, smashing windows, vandalizing homes are all part of his game. JJ reported Friday he is a veteran of the Hinds County Catch & Release Program. Check out the Fondren Firebug in action last month:
The building is the home of Jeff Good's Magna Bene, the parent company of Bravo!, Sal & Mookies, and Broad Street Bakery. Such meant nothing to Higgins as he proceeded to trash the property. The second video shows him vandalizing a house in the middle of the night.
JJ spoke to law enforcement this weekend about Higgins. It was emphasized citizens should not just call the police, but actually file complaints or criminal affidavits against Higgins. Most of his activity takes place in the Capitol Police jurisdiction so if arrested and charged, his case will go to the CCID Court where the judges don't play. The police know who he is. They just need citizens to help prosecute Higgins.

JJ, you might have won the monthly contest for the highest percentage of stupid comments to a worthwhile post. Sevently percent of the comments thus far focus on the old line theme ' get out of Jackson; Jackson's doomed'. Granted, the two pointing to his proud support of his university might have some reasonable connectivity, the others seem to miss the point (other than the tenth, 12:06, who might have a good suggestion as to a remedy.)
Yes, charges need to be filed against this guy - send him to the CCID and let them put him away. Granted, our somewhat dishonorable lady judge on the Circuit, who's signs are popping up all over NE Jackson, would be glad to put him back on the street along with her other supporters, but hopefully he cant gett to her court.
