The Capitol Poh-lice issued the following statement.
At approximately 7:51 a.m., a Capitol Police officer located escaped inmate Brandon Young at a gas station in a black Nissan Titan.
Officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop; however, Young fled at a high rate of speed and subsequently collided with a fence. Officers were able to bring Young into custody at this time. (KF: He crashed into a fence by Galloway Elementary School.).
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the Mississippi Department of Corrections were notified and are en route to retrieve Young.
MDOC issued the following statement and mug shot yesterday.

ironic that an escaped inmate was stopped by a fence.
Should have kept his nose clean and he wouldn't be in this mess.
He nose he is in trouble now.
If you nose then you nose!
Disband JPD, give CPD the funding, let the City deal with settling with the Dr. Chief, crime problems solved.
Meanwhile JPD were seen writing tickets to hard working citizens on there way to the office. JPD doesn’t patrol neighborhoods or show up to any break ins. They sure as hell don’t dust for finger prints. Thank GOD for Capitol police is all i can say! Thank you for doing what Jackson police dept won’t do!
Orange shorts?!? What a clever, inconspicuous disguise!
11:40 is a Rankin that got a speeding ticket recently rolling up 55
JPD, the disease the new Dr. can't even fix. Betting she doesn't really care that much havingher parachute on at all times.
JPD, like all City of Jackson departments simply does not work. Imagine our country run by Dems again.
They got him. Now he nose his butt is headed back to prison.
Only the shadow nose.
Why did Madison County S.O. go and pick him up from the Capital PoPo? Isn't it procedural for the arresting jurisdiction to head up to the Canton County Jail with the prisoner in the back seat? So, now the Madison County Sheriff runs a shuttle service as well as a hot and cot hotel?
Ohhhhh Noooosssseeee! Back in the pokie he goes!
Couldn't even keep from breaking parole conditions. Pitiful. Says a lot about a feller.......
