And yet Lumumba's campaign finance reports that appear to be done by a third grader are perfectly acceptable.
At $50 per month, that’s about 90 years. Let her work some of it off at Parchman.
10:42, i don't believe decoj has authority to rule on the truthfulness of the filings. they can only state whether they are on file. other institutions have investigative powers.
Now I can understand how a felon wants to run for Mayor of Jackson Ms. She understands the crime problems of the City and has been through the Criminal Justice System herself. Her run for Mayor will be a test of what Jacksonian’s really want for their future. Hold up, it’s too early to be drinking, let me put this liquor down!
Now for real I’ll quit playing! I did not see anyone on the list running for Mayor that I would vote for! We got to do better!
What a bunch of idiots....
"Jackson, Miss.– A former City of Jackson employee was sentenced to 5 years of probation for wire fraud and ordered to pay approximately $54,000 in restitution.
According to court documents, Keyshia Sanders, 48, the City of Jackson’s former Constituent Service Manager, pleaded guilty to engaging in a wire fraud scheme to fraudulently induce the disbursement of grant money for her own benefit. The scheme involved the use of fraudulent invoices that caused the grant’s fiscal agent to disburse funds to Sanders in clear contradiction to the terms of the grant and Sander’s role as a City of Jackson employee. The grant was intended to provide project support in the City of Jackson to invest in artists, artist collectives, and small arts organizations. In total, the fraudulent transactions caused by Sanders over the course of the scheme totaled a loss of approximately $54,000.
U.S. Attorney Todd W. Gee of the Southern District of Mississippi and Special Agent in Charge Jermicha Fomby of the Federal Bureau of Investigation made the announcement.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Mississippi State Auditor’s Office investigated the case."
I think Ms. Sanders would be a perfect fit for Jackson. She has already demonstrated she is untrustworthy.
At $50 a month Ms Sanders will complete paying back what she has stolen in 90 years.

Sanders was sentenced to five years of probation and was ordered to pay $54,379.70 in restitution and a special assessment fee of $100.
“I’m not going to continue to talk about that. That is something that was done and handled and taken care of and resolved,” she said.
I can understand why she doesn't want to talk about being a convicted felon.

You go back, Jack, do it again, wheel turnin' 'round and 'round
You go back, Jack, do it again"

What difference does it make. So she's a felon. In Jackson? Big deal. Sham si deen is not doing anything unusual among democrat politicians. He has no desire to actually LIVE where he makes his money, especially in Jackson. Why not use another address? Just jive talkin' They do it all the time.
Ms. Sanders is over-qualified. Right?
That is 90 years and six months with no interest accruing on the principal. Geez, I'm glad she didn't use a credit card.
Well she feel if Trump can be President as a felony she can run for mayor
It's just like a credit card!
Saying you'll pay is one thing, actually paying is something else!
I have no doubt that all you keyboard warriors crowing about being a convicted felon voted for the convicted felon in the White House.
She needs the job to pay the restitution.
I sure did, 3:07, but the convicted felon I voted for was convicted in a kangaroo court of a technical violation, whereas Sanders actually broke the law.
3:07, how is that sentence going for him. When will he get out of prison? Seems like he would be locked up if the conviction was serious. You do realize that that was just so Democrats could call him a “convicted felon” on the campaign trail. You guys just can’t see past the hate you have for that man.
Hehehehe, and he's still your president, hehehehe.
I think Atty Funches would do a good job. I met him in 1994, he was my Business Law Professor at JSU. He is a lifelong resident of the city who actually cares about the City and its people. Plus he doesn't have a need to steal or take a bribe!
The real question is which two candidates will emerge from this primary. Ladies and gentlemen make your predictions.
I think Chokwe plans to win the general so he can appoint Sister R to replace him when he pleads out.
You people are pretty dumb if you think Chock did not appoint a 'feather-bird' to the position of 'manager of constituent services'.
