The city of Pearl issued the following statement.
Bret Michaels—the multi-platinum music icon, reality TV superstar, creative entrepreneur, and dedicated philanthropist—is considered a “cultural touchdown” by entertainment industry leaders. Bret Michaels will take the stage at 8:45 p.m. for an unforgettable performance. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair for this exciting outdoor FREE celebration.
After Summer 2022’s massive Stadium Tour with his band Poison and his smash success Parti-Gras Tour of 2023, Bret is bringing his big hits and legendary energy to Pearl! His iconic smash hits include “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” “Nothin’ But A Good Time,” “Talk Dirty to Me,” his crowd-favorite cover of “Your Mama Don’t Dance,” and many more.
“What better way to celebrate Pearl Day having two music icons with us! I look forward to all of the fun at this event! – Mayor Jake Windham
Michaels is also well-known for his record-breaking hit TV shows, “Rock of Love with Bret Michaels,” “Life As I Know It with Bret Michaels,” and Travel Channel’s “Bret Michaels’ Rock My RV.” He’s a “Celebrity Apprentice” winner, was voted NBC Apprentice fan favorite, and was the only winner to launch a hugely successful product from the show—Bret’s Blend Trop-A-Rocka Diet Snapple Tea, which became an instant hit with the public and remains one of Snapple’s bestselling flavors to date. With his conglomerate Michaels Entertainment Group Inc., Bret oversees his other business endeavors, such as his Bret Michaels Suite at Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, a line of signature guitars, and his Pets Rock Collection with PetSmart, to name a few.
From raising awareness for Type 1 Diabetes that he has lived with his entire life, to supporting the military as the son of a veteran, Bret puts as much passion into his lifelong charitable outreaches as he does his music, garnering him the title of Humanitarian of the Year two years in a row from the Hollywood Christmas Parade.
The evening kicks off with Warrant, an iconic American rock band that rose to fame with their multi-platinum debut album Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich. Known for their high-energy performances and timeless hits, Warrant’s anthems such as “Down Boys” and “Sometimes She Cries” continue to captivate fans. Their follow-up album, Cherry Pie, solidified their status as rock legends, with the title track becoming a pop culture staple.
Together, Bret Michaels and Warrant promise to deliver a night of unforgettable rock and roll at Trustmark Park’s North Parking Lot.

Man they should get Kim Wade to perform Uncle Tom’s Cabin with them! Im sure he would be a hit with the suburban wh*te bread and mayonaise sandwich crowd!
Fun times!!!
If you asked ChatGPT to give you a line-up for a concert for a Pearl festival this is what it would come up with.
As long as Jani Lane remains dead, any band labeling themselves Warrant is a Warrant cover band.
If you are into people watching, this is like hunting over a baited field! The old rippers & rippettes will be out in full force!
This crap depresses my positive energy. Who in the hell wants to watch these old hags in person. 1987 was a long time ago and watching washed up rock stars just doesn’t seem like an appealing form of entertainment.
Let me guess - you're a Taylor Swift fan.
I think I saw both Poison and Warrant back in the 80's (hard to remember), and it was a fun time back then. But, I'm not going to revisit the past almost 40 years later. No thanks.
