Food Fight!!!

Apparently you clowns want to have a discussion on last week's blow-up between White House Chief of Staff and former Marine Corps General John Kelly and Congresswoman Frederica Wilson (D-Fla.) over a phone call to a Gold Star family.  The video of General Kelly's comments are posted below. There were multiple attempts to hijack threads over the weekend so this post is just for you.  Have at it in the comments.

This craziness is going to end badly. The president of the U.S. is an egotistical brat who never passes up a pissing contest. This means that other people whose jobs are to "support and defend" his presidency end up engaged in silly controversies that only waste time and further divide the country. Eventually one of these pissing contests is going to get really ugly and we will have a national crisis over nothing! Let people like this Cowgirl from Florida go about her business without engaging in her media shitstorm. Act like a President!

ummmm, 5:09,

Obama is no longer the President

Anonymous said...

Trump lied. Kelly lied. After the initial controversy they should have apologized to the widow and Congresswoman and it would have over with on that day.

Anonymous said...

5:09 You're right, Obama is NOT the president. Open your eyes.

It's not this BS, but the void of a discussion of national and world news that cause people to attempt hijacks.

Wacky Wilson lied to attack Trump and got called out. Of course, the media is on her side since they hate Trump and middle America. Watch the Republicans pick up seats next year. May even win the Virginia Governorship. America is rejecting people like Wacky Wilson. Roll Trump Roll.

It's hard to defend stupid. Kelly, Pence, and Sanders deserve medals.

Looks like Republicans are going to lose a seat in Alabama.

Anonymous said...

@ 6:41
You remind me of these talking heads I went to Georgetown with. Super libs that clearly don't understand this country. Sorry. Republicans won't lose the seat in Alabama and will gain a seat in west Virginia and in Pennsylvania where I am from. Your out of your everloving mind! Stop reading the free press and open your eyes to real world experiences. Also gain a seat in North Dakota and you also thought ossaff would win Georgia didn't you. It's unreal how you obviously don't learn from history.

6:36 PM you should look at the video of the federal building ceremony. Congresswoman Wilson did not lie. Trump and Kelly lied.

Anonymous said...

@6:36 Wilson has all the proof here, no one denies what Trump said or that he hasn't contacted every family of slain servicemen. Additionally when Kelly tried to discredit her, it backfired, when video from the event showed he lied about her remarks.

The real problem is all the idiots that sit around and watch news shows all day long and get hyped up about what the media tells them to.

Twitter is the beginning of the end.

Nice hat. Enough said.

However, the Congresswoman's hats do look better than the headgear worn by LaRita Cooper-Stokes.

Anonymous said...

I agree with 6:52
The Midwest is gone for the Democrats and Florida as well as long as trump and the Republicans continue to take the Haitian and Cuban vote in large numbers. Tim Ryan the Democrat from Ohio said it best. The Democrat party is a bicoastal party not a national party.

Well, I voted for Trump. As a middle class business owner I felt left out and so did millions of others who are sick and tired of this two party system that's not working. It's a fact that the world woke up when we voted. We are tired of feeding and caring for the ones here who do not work and the rest of the world who expect handouts and military protection at our cost. It's time for a new political party. One that serves it's voters and not lobbyists. The dems are so screwed up it pitiful and the Republican Party completely forgot about the middle class. The republicans can't even get along with one another. It's terrible. We are pissed off and are tired of the left calling us racists because of what we believe in and tired of the rino's standing back and doing nothing, except disagreeing with one another. One thing about the dems. No matter how stupid the issue is they believe in they stick together, such as the Affordable Care Act. Yeah....I got to keep my doctor...Bullsh!!

Hollywood got on the wrong train at the station when they hopped on the "Bash Trump Express". The liberals talk about women's rights while major campaign contributor (s) give money and are known sex predators. Oh, the new mix coming out is who are the pedophiles in Hollywood? The left needs to sit back and take breather because this one is going to be big. But the left think they do no wrong all the while the body count for HRC keeps piling up. The truth is out there. She just hasn't gotten caught...yet....but the uranium might be her kryptonite!

Also don't forget republicans will gain a seat in Missouri currently held by democrat claire Mc. Even some democrats have appeared on stage with trump in there home districts. It truly could be a landslide again for republicans in the midterms.easy to see this as many democrat districts went to trump by double digits. Pennsylvania will certainly unseat Bob Casey

Anonymous said...

I just love how the same guy, that one guy who believes that Trump and the Republicans will prevail in the 2018 elections, keeps commenting. It's tied right now in Alabama. As Mitch McConnell said, Bannon and his crew has had a lot success picking losers he probably meant Trump too.

Look 48% of the districts Trump won were in districts that are represented by Democrats. Also 46% of those districts voted for obama. Trump isn't a republican. There are a massive number of Democrats that voted for Trump... see Michigan Wisconsin Pennsylvania new Hampshire maine... etc... these are working class people. Also trump endorsed candidates are 5 wins to one loss one loss being Alabama strange loss. Look at the map it's all red except for the birthday coastal areas. Your obviously not up on current political trends. These aren't loyal party voters. They are non traditional voters. Generally democrats that voted republican. Say what you want but you simply can't argue with results. Elections have consequences to quote Obama. Dems are a shrinking party. Trump won voters across the board. The silent majority spoke on election day and we're heard.

I predict Donald Trump will set the record for number of cabinet members appointed and replaced. People like Gen. Kelly will find it impossible to remain sane and keep cleaning up the messes this man insists on making. He's like a spoiled rich kid with diarrhea who won't stop eating tacos but doesn't give a damn because there's always someone following him with the pooper-scooper.

People listen,
Politics have changed rapidly over the past 4 years. Demographics are also changing. States that are traditional Democrat states are now voting Republican. Social issues are the death of the Democrat party. Although trump was the only presidential nominee that never opposed same sex marriage unlike hillary did many times before and Hillary also endorsement the border wall before and Obama signed onto it as senator. Trump won by he ran same platform as bill clinton.

Presidents have lied before. Their administrations have lied to cover up their lies.
That isn't new.
What is new is a President that lies over unimportant personal criticisms and then requires those in his administration to support the lies.
What is also new is that even when there is audio and/or recorded proof of the lies, this President has supporters who will ignore the proof (as in this case) and go even further with bizarre attempts to deflect attention from the President's behavior.

The dumbest attempted deflection is that the Congresswoman eavesdropped on the call when the call was on a cell phone on speaker in a car. I suppose she was supposed to stick her fingers in her ear. Are those saying that , that clueless?

And, then we have 8:38 am who just doesn't understand that gerrymandering has affected " the demographics". Nor does she seem to understand that two other parties got more votes than they received in past elections simply because neither the Republican or Democratic candidate seemed acceptable to them. Nor is it understood that some States have less population that other states and the majority vote was not for President Trump. He won the electoral vote, not the vote and the numbers are worse when you look at how many citizens voted against him.

I am very distressed that such a fine military leader as John Kelly has sullied his reputation in this fiasco created by Trump's lie that he has been better at contacting every gold star family than any other President when it's now documented that he has been the worst. Both Trump and the Congresswoman those siding with either, have only added to an unimaginable grief. Lost in this is the ultimate service paid.

But, I'm more distressed that our word, as a Nation, is no longer valued because of this President. We are not only seen as having President that lies without reason, we are seen as a people in chaos with no unity and who have become irrational ourselves. We are the crazy couple neighbors who fight constantly and ignore that their house is falling down around them.

We are no longer seen as a Nation that thought individual freedom was primary and who fought against the intolerance by religions, tyrants and the wealthy in the 1400-1700s. Our Founders were influenced by the Age of Reason and the God they wrote about was the ONE GOD of all religious denominations that had been controlled and corrupted by men. Colonists were Puritans and Huguenots and Papists and Lutherans and Calvinists and Quakers and Deists fleeing from oppression.

And, by the way, they weren't all white Christians fighting for our Independence. Don't believe me? Check out the sites testing U.S. DNA and how many Americans are 1% of a non-Caucasian ancestry ( that'd be our ancestors from the 1600s and 1700s and the numbers get larger) .

Generally, if you can't live in our current century, try not to live in a romanticized century that didn't exist.

Boy oh Boy, Trump doesn't get it, now he's arguing with the widow over whether or not he knew the guy's name. Kelly didn't even dispute that.

General Kelly's comments were heartbreaking as he explained the advise that he gave the President on making such a call to the widow of a fallen soldier. Kelly has gravitas, honor and a history of superlative accomplishment behind him when he speaks, as a former Four Star Marine General, as a Father of a fallen Marine, and as a man with many dedicated years of service to this nation. I know that his comments were from his heart. I think that the President fully intended to do a good thing, but does not have the gravitas or way with words that General Kelly does. I think that the President's words may have been clumsy and awkward and while not purposely meant to be demeaning, possibly could have been interpreted that way. I thank our President for making the call, to General Kelly for his best advise to the President, and send my deepest condolences to family of Sgt's LaDavid Johnson. To Sgt Johnson I send my deepest respect and thanks to you sir, for serving this country so nobly. Rest in Peace Sir.

Anonymous said...

I'm confused. Can one of you Trump haters explain to me how all of this controversy was "started" by Trump when all he did was attempt to offer condolences to the widow of a soldier killed at war? Why did this "start" with him instead of with the congresswoman who listened in (unannounced and without permission of BOTH parties) to that phone call then immediately went a public tirade about the POTUS choice of words? How can you NOT agree that SHE started it??? Assuming she truly felt the POTUS was being insensitive (which I doubt) she could have just done what most of us would have done when encountering a tactless person. We shake our heads and say "you know he didn't mean it THAT way". She could have appoached the POTUS, in private, and explained what she heard and how she interpreted it so that he could take steps to clarify his words. Unless, of course, you are a brain dead liberal who actually believes he is such a mean, spiteful man that he chose his words carefully and said them clearly with specific INTENT to be hurtful. Sorry, Charlie, it's not the "Trump defenders" who look stupid on this issue. It's those of you who continue to defend that bitch of woman who disrespected that soldier, his family, the POTUS AND a Gold-star father all for her 15-minutes of fame. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. Hate Trump is you want to but please pick yourself up out of the gutter for a secong and wipe some of the crap off your hands before you make even your own-self sick.

Anonymous said...

It's a sad commentary, but even the president's supporters, if they care about this country have to admit he needs to have an apologist and or interpreter with him every time he speaks. Especially on serious issues and foreign policy. You see how he can't be trusted with routine conversations. Sooner or later, we will flirt with disaster.

So is this what passes for intelligence in this country. Kelly was offended because Wilson bragged about getting money to build this building. Turns out she didn't brag about getting the money, she bragged about getting the building named in time for the dedication! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsom_S9yF9g.) For 2 1/2 minutes she shamelessly bragged of how she was able to get the building named in time for the grand opening. As if this was a thing of major importance. So the left claims that Kelly was lying. Go and watch the video. Kelly was not lying. Her remarks were very self serving and highly offensive. The fact that in his memory she spoke about funds while in fact is spoke is about naming, is a minor detail that is irrelevant to the point he was making. His point was she made it all about her. And she did. If you cannot see that my guess is you have not watched the video. Watch this video. The proof is there.

Trump doesn't care about black people, nor does he care about poor white people. And let's be honest, Trump has a mental problem. He should never be allowed to speak publically, and for the life of me, I don't understand why one of his children hasn't taken his phone and thrown it into the nearest stream, lake, river, or just the gutter. Why can't he just shut up and stop tweeting?

12:29, Why is it that every time Trump opens his mouth, something comes out the wrong way? How long are we going to keep saying "Oh, he's not a politician"? He ran for a political office and won. You may not have been offended, Trump, who is a self promoter, Oboma - another one, they might not have been offended. General Kelly is not a self promoter. While it does appear that Trump did disrespect this fallen soldier family but that’s not the main issue because we need to know what happened in Niger. Trump was briefed about this attack and choose to sit on it. Whenever reporter question Trump about Niger, he ignores them. Trump diversion tactic is working to a T.

You're the guy at the Christmas party who walks up to various groups, interrupts and says, "Let's talk about what I want to talk about".

Anonymous said...

12:29 It's not the condolence call though some might expect a President who has advisors and writers to at least know the deceased name and think in advance how such a difficult call should be made.
The Congresswoman reacted to the content and at that point , the smart thing for our President or his spokespersons to do would be to express horror that President Trump's heartfelt condolences upset the widow.
My concern is that this President instead , made an unfortunate situation worse by bragging with a lie . He attacked former Presidents. And, if that weren't bad enough, he drags his Chief of Staff, a highly respected Marine and Gold Star father, into the fray. And, to our horror, we then watch a national hero ( who I hope was given misinformation about the Congresswoman rather than invented a lie on the spot), have to publicly share his anguish and then attack the Congresswoman with a lie.
This is the behavior of junior high students, not national leaders.
Worse, the world watches and listens. Our allies and enemies assess the strength of our leadership based on their public behavior.
A normal person whose words aren't heard as intended simply says " I'm so sorry. I wish I had found the words that better expressed my intended hope of comfort ." Then , it's over. But, our current President turns tempests in teapots into category 4 hurricanes. That should worry all of us when we consider he speaks for us on all world conflicts that we don't want to turn into major world conflicts but rather want resolved peacefully.
Do you get it now?

8:42 you talk about the blue-collar people voting for Trump because they punch a clock and don’t believe in the country club establishment types. What, exactly, has Trump done to show that he is a blue-collar type Republican as opposed to a country club type Republican? Because, from the looks of it, this is the most entitled group of government appointees in the history of the republic. Mnunchin’s wife pointing out how much her outfit cost on the tax payer funded private jet to Fort Knox to see the solar eclipse doesn’t really strike me as “blue-collar”.
Price fired for use of tax payer funded private jets doesn’t seem to be very “blue-collar”. Zinke use of tax payer funded private jets to the Virgin Islands and second home in Montana doesn’t seem very “blue-collar“. Can you give me an example of the “blue-collar” actions of this administration that appeal so much to the economically insecure Midwest votor?

I understand more than just Mississippi politics. You are missing the point. No one is saying that the rust belt didn't get him elected. But Mississippi is compliant in helping get this dumb ass elected TOO.

I would be happier if Mississippi would have went to Cruz, Kasich, or Bush in the primary, opposed to picking a thrice married, sexual molesting buffon - based on the fact this is a Christian state that belives in family values. It would have shown we have a clear cut position on those values. But all of that went out the window when Trump won the primary and elected officials in our state stumped for him on the campaign.

Softball from Japan has announced over 100 million in investment in rust belt for jobs... he has reduced regulations handcuff in coal... goodness country boy do you not ever look into recent events. It's huge what is happening for the lower and middle class in this country. Even black umemployment has reached its lowest level in 23 years. Stop with the non sense. He will win by landslide even greater than 2016 next time.

Also don't forget the 3.2% GDP economic growth under trump first time in 16 years that's happened. The state of WV no longer votes Democrat and will vote Manchin out. This is due to democrats killing coal. Trump has definitely delivered to those in that state and Pennsylvania. Coal is the economic backbone for them. Being from Charleston WV I can speak to that. They will vote trump in 2020 for sure. Also don't forget that new Hampshire went Democrat by about 700 votes and trump will win there in 2020 as well.

More than 6,500 people registered to vote in New Hampshire on Nov. 8 using out-of-state driver’s licenses, and since then the vast majority have neither obtained an in-state license nor registered a motor vehicle.
.....
⦁ 6,540 people registered and voted on Nov. 8, based on presenting out-of-state licenses.

⦁ As of Aug. 30, about 15 percent (1,014 of the voters) had been issued New Hampshire driver’s licenses.

⦁ Οf the remaining 5,526, barely more than 200 (3.3 percent) had registered a motor vehicle in New Hampshire.

New Hampshire law gives drivers 60 days upon establishing residence to obtain a state license.

But more than 80 percent of voters who registered on Nov. 8 using out-of-state driver’s licenses, or 5,313 of them, neither had a state license nor registered a motor vehicle almost 10 months later.

The bigger problem is that Steve Bannon's brilliant plan will continue to work and those of you supporting it have fallen for a sham. You think you will get a "Christian Nation" and small government and capitalism on steroids.
Your freedom has been stolen from you in sentences in bills and changes in Congressional rules while you were arguing over politicians you liked or didn't like and reading propaganda from your party of choice.
What you will get is what the Russians have. A one party system and that means the loss of your vote mattering. Oh, there will be sham opponents with no chance of winning so you can pretend.
There will be no balance of power as all branches of power will be controlled by one party. That means an oligarchy not capitalism because capitalism is all about competition and supply and demand. If a monopoly owns the service or the widget, you will pay what they dictate or do without. You don't get that capitalism is an economic system not a system of government. Government either makes capitalism possible by being in favor of merit or it places wealth in the hands of the individuals supporting the party in power.
Your wages and income will eventually decline more. Those of you who think you are upper class now will find that your businesses and services will be taken over , not by government, but by laws that allow the oligarchs to steal the successful businesses and partnerships you built. You wont be an owner or partner, you will be an employee once you are of no use.
You won't be arrested for owning guns, but for being subversive. Because more laws that protected you from corrupt practices are disappearing while you are reading tweets and believing that executive orders are the same as law. Pence broke the tie on one more protection disappearing yesterday so now Wells Fargo et.al can play even faster and looser with your accounts and you will have to accept what they are willing to give you.
And, it's no accident that the bill on Russian sanctions hasn't been signed. It will be ignored...neither vetoed, nor signed and not acted upon.
If you want to change government, you damn well should have tried to find out what good government and a successful capitalistic economic system looks like and why ours was not working well. You are not fixing what was broken, you are allowing what was broken to get worse. You looked for a political savior or assumed that if everyone went to your church and said they loved the Lord, they would really mean it. What you got was foxes guarding the hen house. It's not what people say, but what they do that is real.
You are no different that the fools on the left who believe that government can solve all their problems and meet all their needs. You both have unrealistic notions of what government is and isn't and what economics is and isn't.
You should have read the details of how Russians didn't get the freedom they wanted.
Of course, there's the chance you'll get what the Egyptians got or the Syrians got.
That McCain, Corker and now Flake can't fight for true conservatism from within the party ought to scare you. You don't think they are conservatives. Look at their actual voting record, not what Bannon tells you it is.
Once politicians stop catering to their party, they speak the truth. Read Goldwater and Eisenhower before and after. But, you won't listen because you never bothered to understand that the political parties stopped putting our country first but rather their power first decades ago.

8:35 You are so right but wasting your time because most people don't have the time or the inclination to think for themselves that far in advance. They want the simplest answer to their simple questions. Their desire for " a Christian nation and capitalism on steroids" is an impossible dream since one cannot exist within the other. Instead they listen to so-called leaders whose plans for the future only encompass their next term in office. After that, who gives a f..k. Both parties only exist for the perpetuation of power among their vested members. When things get bad enough, even the simple minded "people" loose faith in the traditional party. Then a rebellious maverick comes along who sees the opportunity to take power for himself. At first some will see the change as refreshing. But he is even more dangerous than the political parties. At least they kept each other in check. The warning signs are there if you care to look. Germany was too overwhelmed to look.
What's our excuse?

"You're wrong Catfish and too dense to comprehend what you don't know."

I am so sorry your momma didn't love you. But that is not my problem, go get counseling, I heard St. Dominic does wonders for people like yourself.

"Look trump would have won by a landslide even if Mississippi didn't go for him. Our state isn't a key state of much importance in terms of national elections."

That's passive aggressive and it removes accountability for what we do as a state. Additionally, it removes accountability on how this state identifies good leadership.

Mississippi still had the opportunity to make a moral and ethical choice - it didn't. To add fuel to the fire, he was some of our elected officials first choise as well. That's a problem.

"Look 48% of the districts Trump won were in districts that are represented by Democrats. Also, 46% of those districts voted for Obama. Trump isn't a Republican.......................................... There are a massive number of Democrats that voted for Trump... ..... Your obviously not up on current political trends. These aren't loyal party voters. They are non-traditional voters. Generally, democrats that voted republican. Say what you want but you simply can't argue with results. ...................Trump won voters across the board. The silent majority spoke on election day and we're heard."

Trump isn't a Republican and Democrats will no longer exist, and you are excited for an Authoritarian government for what reason?

8:35 1970 is long gone. For the past eight years the left was completely unhinged. Promoting policies that were unrecognizable to middle Americans. Compromise was not to be found in their insane ideas. But Bonner, Mitch, McCain etc behaved as if the other side was being run by Truman and JFK. The people had enough. 17 folks ran for the nomination. Trump and Cruz got 80% of the votes. Out of 17 people the two who were most likely to fight were Trump and Cruz. I voted for Cruz, but in the end I don't think he could have won. Trump got down in the mud with the Clintons. No one wanted to see it. But it's easy to know what we would have if he hadn't - supreme court lost for decades, total federal control of health care, massive federal regulations that pretend to stop global warming but actually just waste billions. I could go on. I think you get the point. Until the left regains sanity, and so far this year they are more insane than ever, the only choice we have is to defeat them. And that takes people who care more about getting the job done than they care about getting reelected.

"the left was completely unhinged. Promoting policies that were unrecognizable to middle Americans."

Whoa - can we please pump the brakes on the Hyperbole Train!?

Here are some examples of policies the Obama Administration tried to get Congress to work on:

1. Stimulate and improve job safety for workers, through assistance to the States, employees, and employers;

2. enhance programs of assistance to workers with special employment problems, such as older workers, handicapped workers, members of minority groups, and migratory workers;

3. improve the effectiveness of the unemployment insurance system;

4. Protect assets of employee welfare and benefit plans so that workers who are the beneficiaries can be assured of their rightful benefits;

5. Assure equal pay for equal work regardless of Sex;

6. Clarify and strengthen the eight-hour laws for the benefit of workers who are subject to federal wage standards on Federal and Federally-assisted construction, and maintain and continue the vigorous administration of the Federal prevailing minimum wage law for public supply contracts; changing the overtime threshold

7. Extend the protection of the Federal minimum wage laws to as many more workers as is possible and practicable;

8. Continue to fight for the elimination of discrimination in employment because of race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry or sex;

9. Provide assistance to improve the economic conditions of areas faced with persistent and substantial unemployment.

How in the hell is any of that unrecognizable to Middle America - especially in a labor state like Mississippi? Especially in a state like Mississippi that leans heavily on the Federal assistance to keep it afloat financially.

You are talking about the left needs to gain sanity!? Hell, the right needs to get a clue and get back to focusing on brick and mortar issues and understanding what Middle America wants and need. Voodoo economics does not work and never will, especially for middle America.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
