We all knew Covid originated in China. How it originated is merely academic. It changes nothing unless some of you think we should have invaded China or stopped taking imports (on which we were then and still now are dependent).

It might have helped to quarantine all those travelling from a country with an outbreak and quarantining people in the first two outbreaks here. The virus has characteristics such as its increased rate of transmission that make it different and more aggressive than other coronaviruses.

I was visiting on the gulf coast in August 2020, when I came down with a raging fever that was not affected by any over the counter drugs.
I called my doctor's office in my hometown, and described my temperature, telling them I could find nothing to help the fever. I was instructed to go somewhere to be tested for the virus, and if positive to email them the results. This I did, and was positive for the virus.
After they received the proof of a positive test, a prescription for ivermectin, and a Z-pac was sent to a Walgreen's near me. The Walgreens acted as if they didn't want to fill it. After the third phone call, I had my daughter's fiancé pick them up. I took the medications as directed, and in no time the fever broke, and I was feeling better. So, all doctors weren't in on the scam.
