"Killing is your ultimate power, dying is my ultimate power. My sermons are all over the land. If you kill me, my sermons will be sprinkled with my blood," said Pastor Josef Tson to his Romanian torturers before he was exiled in 1981. The late Dr. Frank Pollard recounted how this particular sheep survived among Ceaușescu's wolves solely through faith as he wove Tson's story into the 1996 sermon about the Ten Commandments posted below. Enjoy.
Scripture: Exodus 20: 2-4
(NIV) 2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
3 “You shall have no other gods before[a] me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
(KJV) 2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
