Mississippi Highway Patrol Colonel Randy Ginn announced his retirement at the MHP's General Assembly Thursday.

Charles is a stellar choice for a replacement! Top notch fella .
I'll believe there's improvement whenever they stop breaking the law on a daily basis.
As the badge spins…. MHP appears to need a makeover and better publicity officer if they are going to continue the stereotypes they keep perpetuating….
Randy Ginn is a great Colonel and a great man. I hope he has a great retirement.
I can't say enough good things about Charles!
Will Troopers finally be held accountable for their bad and sometimes illegal actions or will it be business as usual?
Business as usual!!
He should have left about 30 years ago…a great purge and organizational change is needed at DPS/MHP!
He ain't the only one leaving.....stay tuned till end of December for some big announcements! For the record, Col. Ginn is a great guy!
Comical. No other way to describe it…
But, welp, you could always hire other agencies rejects back out of retirement. You know, the arrogant leader that only hires people of his kind, or the woman abuser who is broke, still has a free apartment he doesn’t live in, manipulative assistant leader that the state refuses to convict or do anything about. #MISSISSIPPIwelcomesYOU
Art James for Colonel
Is this because of all the scandals?
I heard E31 was back on the beat. I hope someone went over the constitution with him. First time I’ve ever seen a cop simultaneously violate someone’s 1st and 4th amendment rights. But then again, it is Mississippi.
