For some people, it's never enough. Never.
The client tipped $5 on a $20 order. Business Insider reported Doordash fired the driver. Good luck finding your next job, buddy. Not!

Another entitled snowflake millennial/gen Z. He is probably also demanding student loan forgiveness.
A well-known idiot referring to someone he doesn't know as an idiot, based on a copy and paste job. Award-winning journalist Donna Ladd told the truth.
So he thinks because someone has a nicer house than him that he deserves more than $5 on a $20 order for just walking it to the front door and then cusses at the homeowner? I’d call him a loser but there are a lot of losers like this that make up the “tide pod challenge/everyone gets a participation trophy” generation
He should be glad at a 25% tip.
No doubt an advocate of Ted Heflin's water billing system - big bills for big houses.
This fellow is prime material for the Democrat Party. They need to start grooming him for a career in public office
No way I'd take a bite of that pizza after a jealous prick like that handled it.
"Award-winning journalist Donna Ladd told the truth."
If you mean she accurately repeated Mayor Lumumba's lies, then yeah, I guess so.
6:35 PM is too funny.
For the last 48 hours, he/she/it has been attempting to troll JJ.
I'm assuming 6:35's anal anguish is a result of last week's
United States Supreme Court rulings.
I would have said "you're right. Give me the fiver and I will replace it with a twenty." Once he gave me the fiver back I would have told him to "get the fuck off my property, loser."
I'd call the pizza place and complain about the driver and his filthy language.
This type of thing isn't funny, its maddening, and can you imagine telling a mans wife "fuck you" on their own property?? That level of disrespect could and SHOULD result in a swollen eye.
I agree with 7:55. It really is indicative of how awful society has become to one another that this guy even considered this behavior as acceptable.
We over corrected on so many things.
A little violence and bullying seemed to be beneficial.
1. The guy is an idiot for not showing a bit of restraint about his hurt feelings/pocketbook. No sense in losing the next $20 tip because you are butt hurt about the $5 tip. Of course, maybe he isn't an idiot. He knows that all of us will pay him probably more money than he makes now to sit on his ass and eat potato chips. Maybe he is smarter than all of us.
2. I do think there is a point where the labor involved deserves a minimum tip regardless of the total of the check. For instance, a 20% tip for a bartender making you me drink and giving me 3 free glasses of water probably isn't enough in my way of thinking. The reverse could be said when the labor involved on a $500 bottle of wine is the same as a $100 bottle of wine.
Papa j pizza guy once made a remark to me as I ordered 5 pizzas and topped him about 20-23% of the cost of the pizza and he said you over here in eastover and got a Range Rover and a big ass house and you gave me 20 dollars for all this? I said you only drove 3 miles from northside dr location and he blamed me he got wet from the rain. I didn’t call the store but I was in shock
Tipping is out of control. It not the guys fault that folks are doling out 50%Tips. My standard is 15% for good, 20% +for excellent .
I calculate it on the cost of food. I don’t tip anyone on taxes. Given the nature of his job I would have given him 20% or $4. I will not pay a tip for someone to hand me a cup for the self serve. Then get my food from the pick up station. I leave a buck or two for the busboy.

Avoid food deliveries, do your own yard work and most of your own home maintenance to avoid mental cases who may come back after midnight to get even.
Yes it is BUT Business Insider investigated the case and reported he was fired over the video. Otherwise, I would not have posted the video.

So what? Why does it matter? What is your point? Why do you care?
Just your typical, average, entitled Fatmerican boy. Nothing to see here. Move along and get used to it.
Not a parody => hotel workers (many being illegals) in Kalifornia went on strike and are demanding a raise to $30/hour and a $3/hour raise for each subsequent year. "Kalifornia has been berry, berry, good to me."
What’s worse, an entitled Millennial/GenZ delivery dude, or an entitled Boomer Karen?
I personally think a rich bitch entitled Karen is worse.
And they seem to often come unglued on people preparing their food.
They deserve everything extra that they get in their food and drinks.
$100K in debt for a major in Sociology with a minors in Gender and Environment and wants the welder and the truck driver to pay for it! No son, those sign-making and protesting skills wont put food any on the table. Who told you otherwise?
Honestly, I thought $5-6 no matter how many pizzas (less than 5) was an appropriate tip. Why would I owe a percentage of the bill? If I order one pizza or three the labor and time is the same. I understand a percentage on a meal with a waiter but not a one time to my door trip. They get additional pay from the pizza place. If they deliver to 4 houses a hour they are making $25-30 a hour if everyone tips $5. What are they expecting?? Tipping has gotten out of control. I don’t owe the person who took my order at Newks a tip. If the person that brings it out is nice and the food is good I’ll throw a couple bucks down when I leave. Tipping before any service occurs is stupid.

Tipping on percentage of bill is for restaurant service. I usually start at 20% for table service, and usually tip 10% for to-go orders, just because it sucks to work a restaurant shift and get stuck in a non-tipping position.
Pizza guys get a flat-rate tip depending on size of the order, distance traveled, and speed of delivery.Tipping a pizza guy on the front end is basically paying them to not spit on my food.
Soliciting tips in other settings is often just panhandling while on the clock.
Just my $0.02
Tipping is totally discretionary. In the bar and restaurant business, servers have a lower hourly wage that is supplemented with tips. If they consistently give good service, they can have a good shift. For those already making a decent wage and providing a base service (aka taking orders, driving an Uber, delivering food, foaming milk with coffee, checking luggage, etc.), it's not the same, and is influenced by going above-and-beyond...or, not. When ordering a couple of beers at a concert kiosk (pull from ice and open can 2x), and seeing the ipad showing the box to check for an 18% tip, I just laugh.

Spoken like a true useless hourly fast food employee. You know what you should all get what you ask for: A salary raise and no tips. Get to see the good life of real salaried workers. That includes unpaid work.
@12:43 PM
I’m not a fast food worker.
However, I’ve just had the extreme displeasure of being behind white boomer Karen’s in a line to order.
Makes you not even want to order food after they have disrespected everyone within earshot of their entitled delusions.
It’s even more funny when they look around for approval and everyone is grimacing at their childish behavior.
I'm more interested one where one is getting a $20 pizza?
Hate to take his side, but he really didn't make much money on that delivery if you consider his gas, wear and tear on his car, and the limited number of deliveries he is able to make in a day. They problem he has is that he has a job delivering stuff to cheap ass customers, when he should be delivering more expensive things to better tippers.
I might be wrong, but I don't think most of these delivery guys get paid much by the pizza place, who somehow convince these guys they can make a living off of tips, which is a big big lie.
How/how much do Door Dash drivers think they should be paid by the person ordering food. I'm interested to know what they expect.
Here we are talking about the food service industry demanding tips, once my barber who I also went to high school with told me that barbers deserve tips also. I was kind of insulted since he charges more than I thought was enough but who am I to say? Anyway, his logic for saying that is when you’re in his barber chair the advice he gives is worth something. I started cutting my own hair. I didn’t know if it was ploy among all babes or just him.
On another note, @ 10:13, if you spit on someone’s food that’s jail time or an ass whoopin’. 10:14 made a very valid and sensible comment. These so called grads have no idea what it’s like to go in business for themselves and see the economy slide backwards and it leaves you with people owing you and sometimes they have no way to pay so your recourse is an attorney. By the time you get finished everyone has lost. And that guy is bit him about a $5 tip. No wonder we are headed downhill at full throttle.
If you don't have a job making a "livable" wage, it is up to YOU to improve the situation. Change jobs, go back to school, take on a second job, trim your budget, cut your credit cards in half, etc. It is not up to the rest of society to make YOUR career choices more lucrative. It's also not up to the rest of us to pay-off your student loans. When did whining become an acceptable alternative to working?
