Before church she asked whether she had seen me at the movie. “Yes ma’am.” She said, “There are many evil people in the world.” To which I replied, “We’re evil too!” And, she agreed heartily. “Sound of Freedom” is a provocative movie about men and women who risk their lives to save little children enslaved by sex-traffickers. In particular, it’s about Tim Ballard, a former Special Agent with Homeland Security Investigations who tracked and arrested those who possessed and distributed child pornography.
Focus of the movie turned early on when one of Ballard’s fellow agents noted that while they had arrested many child predators, they had not saved one child from slavery. The rest of the movie depicted how Ballard began trying to save children trapped in the international sex trade. Ballard’s appointment as a Special Agent officially prohibited him from tracking child predators internationally. So he resigned from his job and formed his own outfit with contacts he’d made over the years. He named it Operation Underground Railroad.“Sound of Freedom” brings to light the unspeakable evil that permeates cultures around the world including America. Yes, sex-trafficking little children is a thriving enterprise in underground America. Hopefully, the movie will raise enough awareness of this abomination of human nature to energize Americans to fight against those who support and fund these atrocities.
While the movie is not about faith or religion, thousands of Christians have been filling up theaters and spreading the word about the need to wipe out these heinous crimes against children.Christians have been energized particularly over the past decade against drag shows for children, LGBTQ+ “educational” materials in elementary schools, and activist teachers secretly leading little children toward transitioning their gender without their parents knowledge. Yet, the media, government, and radical woke activists push these things as normal and natural.
When my friend agreed with me that “We’re evil too!” she was acknowledging what we both know. Natural man, i.e. man without God, is totally depraved according to the Bible. The first three chapters of Paul’s letter to the church at Rome lays out this foundational biblical doctrine. Every person is a sinner and capable of the most unimaginable sins. In the ending verses of Romans 3:21-31 Paul explains that only God can save us from our inherently dead and hopeless nature.
Needless to say, some believe the Bible, some don’t, and sadly today most neither know nor care what the Bible says.
According to the CIA World Factbook, the UN’s International Labor Organization “estimated in 2022 that 27.6 million people worlwide were victims of forced labor, bonded labor, forced child labor, sexual servitude, and involuntary servitude.” The world has more slaves today than ever, and none of them will ever receive reparations for their enslavement. This is what the “natural” world looks like.
Jim Caviezel portrayed Tim Ballard in the movie. Caviezel also portrayed Jesus Christ in “The Passion of the Christ.” In “Sound of Freedom” one of the characters asked why Tim was doing all of this to save children. The man who portrayed Jesus Christ in the other movie said, “God’s children are not for sale.” That was a powerful moment in the movie.

It’s people EXACTLY like Jeffrey Epstein who are fueling this pedophile sex slavery.
Thousands of years of history proves it and they are still up to their same old dirty tricks.
Only now they have made it socially unacceptable to call them out for it!
Remember, you are ruled by those for whom you aren’t allowed to criticize!
They’ve clearly been for sale for a long time.
Even to the son of the current president.
Hunter’s laptop was full of pictures of him with pre-pubescent Slavic girls in Ukraine.
I am going to let this one ride Boys.
I can only imagine how hard kingfish must be censoring to have so few comments.
I’m not saying that Kingfish is a Pedo.
He just loves Hollywood pedos too much.
Much of the interest appears to be driven by the right wing, including adherents of QAnon – the conspiracy theory which alleges a cabal of Democrats, Hollywood celebrities and financiers control the world, while engaging in a mass pedophilia .
It has helped that the film’s star, Jim Caviezel, appears to be one of those QAnon believers.
Caviezel, has repeatedly claimed that children’s blood is being harvested for the hormone “adrenochrome”, which is then used by unnamed persons as an anti-aging effort.
In 2021, Caviezel pushed aspects of the QAnon conspiracy theory at a rightwing convention alongside L Lin Wood, a prominent QAnon believer and lawyer who worked to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.
Within days of its release, Sound of Freedom was claimed by the right wing, including some noted conspiracy theorists and Donald Trump.
My wife and I want to see the movie but can't find out where, in north Mississippi, it might be showing.
To 8:23 - That's fine. Who cares?
A Black Man’s perspective on Sound of Freedom by Jae Woodward
This one won’t get picked up by the YouTube algorithm.
Better than any of the midwits reading from Wikipedia like that “Thoughty2”
Of course, he managed to bring politics into a discussion of something that isn’t political. It doesn’t take long reading this guy’s drivel that he believes that church and state should be one. This type of attitude is all too pervasive in a lot of churches (especially in the South, including MS), and it is a large part of the reason why Christianity is declining in the United States to the tune of 1% each year for the past decade. Right now, we are at 2/3 Christian; in 1990, it was around 90%.
If you keep acting so obnoxiously, one day you’ll find yourself in the minority (and it will be your fault).
The right's repeated attempts to link the discussion of sex trafficking and grooming to gay people is no different than the blood libel ("Jews drink the blood of children") used centuries ago to justify murdering entire Jewish communities.
This column, like most of its kind, does this by non-subtle implication, trying to conflate sex trafficking with debates about teaching LGBTQ issues in schools, and a conveniently vague indictment of "radical woke" culture in general.
Every decent person, regardless of sexual orientation, agrees child sex trafficking is an abomination. Whether we mention gay people in schools or not has absolutely no bearing on that.
Implying that gay people (or the mentioning of gay people in schools) are responsible for sex trafficking is a lie. It's a form of stochastic terrorism used to gin up extremists to hate gay people for something they didn't do.
Kingfish, you have a responsibility to do better. Allowing people to spread this kind of bile is going to get innocent people killed and needlessly sow hatred and division. You should take this article down, now.
So, to sum up, God is the creator of all things, and all-powerful, but He is pissed that the bunch of imperfect sinners that He created haven't stopped the child sex trade that He, as the creator of all things, also created? I don't know for certain, but I'm pretty sure that a whole lot of folks are going to have a whole lot of fancy-ass explaining to do when their time comes to explain just what in the high (Holy) hell they were (not) thinking about when they decided they were His spokespeople.
If you're representative of the majority @10:46, we all be fine on the other side.
12:06splaining is defined as the act of telling you what you're supposed to think.
@12:06 PM
Drinking children's blood you say?
Tell me, what is a Bris?
Reminder that more people have paid to see this movie than both Indiana Jones and the Triggered Feminist and the Hip Hop remake of The Little Mermaid combined.
And Disney sat on this picture for 5 years and wouldn’t release it!
But then again, Trump was president then and he was also really good friends with Jeffrey Epstein, a known sex trafficker of underaged girls, and Ghislane Maxwell, daughter of a famed member of the Israeli Mossad.
So perhaps their is a connection?
Progressives really need to be more considerate of the fragile feelings of MAGA and q woo and stop trying to trigger them with doll movies, beer cans, toys and books.
@5:28
Wrong. Leftists just need to keep their hands of the minds and bodies of our children. Full stop.
So we now judge movies not on how good they are, but who likes them. Got it. So if the wrong crowd, wrong in your mind, likes a movie, then the movie is not legitimate.
Of course, you give away your own bigotry when you slam Christians but leave out all the blood libel the Muslims use against the Jews. Want to start listing them? I suspect you know what they are.
Gardner barely mentioned LBTQ or whatever the alphabet of the month is. I'm going to guess the books he is referring to are books that were pretty graphic and probably unsuited for younger children. Of course, even discussing whether they are makes one a hater. However, you went into hysterics . He damn sure didn't imply or exply gays were responsible for sex trafficking. I took it to mean he meant Christians (the evangelical type usually) have been arguing against several trends in society over the last decades.
I saw the movie. It was a good movie but I knew what was coming post-credits. I left because I generally don't stick around for those type of messages after the movie ends, whether I agree with it or not.
Accusing me of allowing him to use free speech to kill people is deranged. Period. You didn't like what he wrote, understandable actually, and you went unhinged in your anger. Its a common method used by some when they hear something they don't like. Notice I approved your comment and your right to disagree with the column. That is more freedom than Gardner would get on a site on your side of the isle if he made a comment on something you wrote.
Interesting to see all the deviants lining up to protest loudly that which exposes their march to Gomorrah.
It won't work, boys and girls. You've been outed and your days are numbered. Protest as you might. Find a safe space and huddle.

We all have Free Will, a sort of test to see who is worthy of God, and who should be punished. So in my calculus, God did not pre-ordain all of our decisions because He wants to see what we choose and judge us accordingly.
So my make good choices.
"We all have Free Will, a sort of test to see who is worthy of God, and who should be punished. So in my calculus, God did not pre-ordain all of our decisions because He wants to see what we choose and judge us accordingly."
So, to sum up, the all-powerful deity you believe in created child sex slavery, subjecting the children you believe he created (presumably at conception) to horrors and even death, merely as a test of the "worthiness" of certain other humans he also created. It's an interesting view and unfortunately you are not unique in such beliefs. You may want to work on your explanation. I have no idea how much time you may have left but you'll need every second of it to come up with a really persuasive one.
Don’t cancel Gardner, he has a right to his opinion and we all have a right to agree or disagree.
@Kingfish
I don’t think you understand.
Let me spell it out.
Movies like this could lead to another Holocaust.
Spot on, Kingfish @5:59.
Kingfish, 12:06 here.
You miss the point badly. I'm not talking about the movie. I'm sure it's fine as far as it goes.
I'm talking about conservatives trying repeatedly to slide discussions about gay people right next to discussions of child sex trafficking and grooming, as Gardner does here, to imply the two are related.
It's not subtle anymore. Any pro-LBGTQ comment on social media is met with conservatives yelling "groomer." Polls show large portions of Republicans believe lies about gay rights and child sex trafficking being related.
You contribute to that by publishing this.
I understand you're defensive about this. That's why your first response is "um, you didn't list every instance where this has ever happened so you're ... uh ... a bigot." For the record, of course Muslims, atheists, and Hindus have done this too. But your comments have a word limit, so I went with the literal source of the term "blood libel."
I guess I would be defensive too, though, if I were making money off the now-common right-wing implication that gay people and child sex trafficking are related.
Not defensive at all as I don't give a damn what you think.
As for your last sentence. Go to hell. It just shows how deranged you are more than I ever could.
@1:55
It has long been known that homosexuality spreads by molesting children.
That’s why groomers are so desperate to push prepubescent trans garbage.
They want to push the idea that children can consent to homosex.
That’s why they want little kids at pride parade and drag queen story time.
They know if they keep pushing the Overton Window then society will accept their degeneracy.
They’ve been doing this for a century!
Grooming is another form of sexual abuse.
Diseased minds and diseased bodies.
Maybe not all homosexuals are pedo child sex traffickers.
But there are an awful lot of homosexual pedo child sex traffickers!
Everyone notice how the homo-pedo cries out “I’ve been found out” as if years of drag-queen story hour, exposing kids to homosexual acts at pride parades, pushing pre-pubescent trans “consent” and all this other garbage they want us to accept, has t made it totally clear that their agenda has always about kids.
Btw 1:55
Why did a bunch of gay pride groomers recently chant “we are coming for your kids” at a rally? Did they really think they were “owning” conservatives? Or were they trying to accelerate some violence against them? Do these people really not remember what happened during Weimar Germany?
Spreading hate about a movie that simply spreads awareness about the horrors and depravity of child sex trafficking and labeling those horrors as a conspiracy theory says a lot about the person. Better take a long look in the mirror.
Thank you, 7:05pm! It's about time someone said the truth!
