Severance star Tramell Tillman got to live out one of his fantasies in the season finale of the Apple TV show. Watch the marching band in the video. Anything look familiar?
Mr. Tillman graduated Summa Cum Laude from Jackson State University in 2008. He practically worshipped the Sonic Boom while a student. When Ben Stiller asked him about doing a marching band scene, the JSU grad said they had to do it Sonic Boom, HBCU style.

Bad. Ass.
Haven't watched the show (don't have Apple TV), but I think it would be neat to have a marching band in my office.
The show is absolutely shit. It’s like stiller is a huge anime fan and threw a ton of anime tropes into a show that had to also be woke to get greenlit by Apple. The problem is anime is the opposite of woke. And the writing in this pig goes nowhere. But Reddit absolutely loves the show. And that is all that matters to the wokesters at Apple.
I tried watching the show, but I thought it was awful. But this is very, very cool.
The Sonic Boom is awful. Musicianship is nonexistent. Just a bunch of jumping around. Yet, people seem to celebrate that band like it’s special or good.
lol at 3:24 and 3:08. Close minded classic Mississippi outlook. If you’re into Sci-fi, Severance is the best show on tv in years
There is nothing more electric than an HBCU marching band and drum line.
Signed,
White dude from rankin county.
Let the band play Neck!
@4:48 I am into sci fi and there hasn’t been a good show since Enterprise
Not impressed at all !
HBCU's. Come for the band. Stay for the football.
Uh-huh. Check out Foundation.
A HBCU marching band was not on my bingo card for the Severance season finale. Fun moment in a great episode.
