Sheesh, this is a part of what is wrong with the judicial system, besides the judges. So many of these should be permanently disbarred but getting slaps on the wrist. Any of these in a regular corporate job would be immediate firing.
Now do doctors, nurses, and pharmacists.
Good grief, what does it take to actually get disbarred these days!? Some of these violations are very egregious, yet they are only being reprimanded!
Grok/Gemini/Claude/ChatGPT can’t replace these worthless shysters fast enough.
This is pitiful.
Disciplinary actions may be tempered by thoughts of “There but for the grace of God go I.”
Danielle Brewer - hers is a crazy story….insane
Whatever happened to that Daniel S. Dale clown who brought phones & weed to his clients in the Hinds County Jail?
I know of an attorney who took $2400 to do a criminal appeal and then never did it. Let the time lapse for filing the notice of appeal. He even admitted it. Apparently he got NO discipline. Not even a private reprimand as far as I can tell.
It actually gives me some hope to see the Bar taking action against its members. I have always been of the opinion that Bar was there to give the appearance of regulating the practice of law, but, in reality, protecting its members and providing barriers to entry. Maybe, I should revise my view of the organization.
the problem with the ms state bar is the arbitrary and caprious way they hand down discipline .
minor , nickle-dime infractions are severely punished and all the while major infractions get off easy.
