Attorney General Lynn Fitch issued the following statement.
Today, Attorney General Lynn Fitch announced the recent sentencing of Pearly Youngblood of Taylorsville, Mississippi. Youngblood pleaded guilty to one count of Medicaid fraud. This case was investigated and prosecuted by the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office. "Medicaid is an important part of our social safety net, providing access to medical services for those who would otherwise not be able to afford it," said Attorney General Lynn Fitch. "My office is dedicated to holding those who defraud this program accountable. I am proud of the investigators and prosecutors here who are committed to watching out for the taxpayers and to making sure Medicaid is there when our neighbors need it."![]() |
Youngblood |
Youngblood, an employee of Blessing Hearts Healthcare, knowingly submitted false claims for Medicaid services that she did not provide. On July 28, 2025, Walthall County Circuit Court Judge David Strong ordered Youngblood to pay full restitution in the amount of $16,598.40 to the Mississippi Division of Medicaid, as well as $4,000 in fines and fees. She also received five years of non-adjudicated probation through the Mississippi Department of Corrections and will remain on the federal exclusion list, excluding her from participating in Medicaid, Medicare, or any other federal health care program, for five years.

Must be getting close to an election cycle.
Set up to try once again after Probation.
So basically just a $4k hand slap. Some insurance deductibles are higher. Hardly a punishment.
Fitch is a zero.
"...MY office is dedicated..."
You go Lynn!
Our AG has no problem prosecuting someone that takes $16k of welfare money, but can't find the gumption to prosecute her buddies to took $16MM in welfare money. Go figure.
So, she is ordered to repay $16,000.00 which she will not pay. She is fined, which she will not pay. She is on probation which means almost nothing.” WHERE is the DETERENT ? We aren’t the poorest state in the country for no reasons. Put her a** in jail for at least 5 years and I can assure you that she won’t do this again for at least 5 years.
$4,000.00 fine, and fees. Please keep us posted as to when she pays the $4,000.00 fine and fees. I am pretty sure a good guess would be never. But, it is getting close to re-election time and this is an inexpensive way to receive free positive exposure.
“Equal Justice Under Law”… DependingOnWhomYouKnow, In Mississippi
Low hanging fruit, AG’s version.
Why don't we change that? I can't stand the, "it's all in who you know" crap in MS. I bet there are a lot of people in the state that feel the same way.
Those people are protected from the law. The legal system only applies to us peasants, not celebrity types.
MS is far from poor. The people may be, but the state isn't.
All the corruption in this state and zero Fitch is focusing on this bs.
Preach brother!
Lynn, when are you going to bag some politicians?
That’s one in a row.
Yup....old Mississippi man told me the other day..."yeah, I let lots of lawyers hunt and fish on my land...even some judges....they make sure I never go to jail". Mississippi is shit. Most Mississippi land was stolen from Freedmen and their families after the war. They was just runn oft under threat of a lynching.
1:34 it is harder to fathom $16 million stolen from the Government when you are the Government!
Doesn’t make sense, haven’t y’all forgot about the Welfare fraud yet? It’s been 5 years!
The Government thinks the citizens are just a bunch of dough dough birds! SMH
Stand by for a tit-for-tat press release from Shadrick in 3... 2... 1...
Pretty much everything is either not investigated or not prosecuted if you are rich and white. Or related to some of the same.
Well we could always go back to a Mike Moore or Conway Twitty AG who didn’t do much regardless of where the election cycle was.
Lynn Fitch is a zero. For years we see or hear next to nothing from her except squabbling with other elected leaders or “bravely” joining in a lawsuit with 20+ other AGs who signed on earlier. Now that election fund raising season is upon us she has a PSA (tv ad) and starting these “I got one” small fish press releases. I think we can do better.
This is kinda on a petty level in comparison to.....! Look at the state auditor's latest report. Then, look under Hinds County. All that unrecovered money and no prosecutions, yet, by the AG's office? What is going on? I mean, what is really going on?
So was she from Taylorsville as stated or from Tylertown, which is a town in Walthall County? I'm guessing from Tylertown
3:54, most land in Mississippi prior to the war was owned by Freedmen?
What is going on? Nothing, absolutely nothing....and the Mississippi political machine installed swamp witch Fitch to do exactly that...keep quiet about their corrupt machinations.
It's still only "one in a row."
Let's put it this way: Millions of acres...and that's a fact.
