Rankin County Sheriff Bryan Bailey issued the following statements.
(#1) On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, approximately 6:00am, deputies with the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department responded to a business on Cleary Rd near Florence for a reported burglary and the theft of a wrecker truck.
While conducting the on-scene investigation, deputies and investigators obtained evidence proving that Edmond Larry Teasley Jr. had broken into the business and stolen the $75,000 tow truck.
Approximately 9:45am, deputies located and arrested Teasley on the two (2) felony charges.
He is currently being held at the Rankin County Detention Center without bond and will have to make an appearance in Rankin County Court.
(#2) On Sunday, December 1, 2024, approximately 7:30pm, deputies with the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department responded to the Live Oaks neighborhood just off MS Hwy 468 for a reported auto burglary.
Over the past month in spite of constant patrols by marked units and several covert operations, the area of Live Oaks had been plagued with multiple burglaries. Through a partnership between residents of Live Oaks and the Sheriff’s Office the investigation gained substantial progress, and a suspect was identified as Jakvious Derrion Galloway. After Galloway’s arrest, investigators with the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office learned that he actually lived in the Live Oaks neighborhood and had been disposing of the stolen property in Jackson. While the investigation is ongoing it is possible that Galloway could face more than 10 counts of Auto Burglary. The Rankin County Sheriff’s Office would like to express its appreciation to the Live Oaks HOA and the residents of the neighborhood for their assistance.

It really is the universal color.
They look like Rankin folk.
All it takes is one a-hole to steal the peace of mind of an entire neighborhood.
A one-man crime wave like that needs to be removed from society for a period of years, regardless of whether he is a "non-violent" offender.
Theft and of a tow truck. …… nobody would see that.. meth monkey
