I personally know two individuals (both females in their 40's) that recently spent over a week in the hospital with covid. Neither had been vaccinated, and one of the ladies had absolutely no underlying health conditions. I'm beginning to think that there's something to the vaccine.

The only thing waiting for the full FDA approval of the Pfizer and Moderna vacs are confirmation of the processing facilities used to produce the vaccine. The clinical trials and related approvals all were completed and approved prior to the 'experimental' approval.

The drugs are being produced in many different facilities (necessary of course due to the massive quantities being required on a short time frame.) Part of the final approval process is confirming that each and every facility meets the standards required from the initial approval. Yes, for most drugs, this is done prior to FDA providing an approval, ALONG WITH the clinical trials and other testing.

The approval will be for the current version - which is not flawed, as you (with of course your established medical, viroligist, and epidemological education and experience learned from OAN or other social media reading) claim. Unless you can provide some substantive support for your 'expert opinion' that the jabs are 'flawed', STFU.

I have no idea what the video might be and have no interest in watching it because if anyone is claiming to have "invented the mRNA vaccine" they would be lying. No specific person "invented" vaccines (and in any case, there are more than one mRNA vaccine - there is no "the" mRNA vaccine), the technology, or mRNA. That said, there is a difference between someone "I invented 'the' mRNA vaccine" and as here, someone claiming another other person "invented the mRNA vaccine." If the person said it, they are knowingly lying. If it was claimed about them and they knew it and didn't correct it, it is about the same thing, but if they did not know it was said, it is not their claim or fault.

The doctor I suspect this might be is Bob Malone, who is a MD (from a real med school) and did some meaningful work on mRNA starting in the 1980s but went a bit...off...a few years ago, prior to COVID. I've read that he has been called "the inventor of 'the' mRNA vaccine" by news outlets, but I have not read or heard that he has or has not made that claim himself. I've heard, but do not know, that he is consumed with the idea that he should be lauded as some sort of medical god, receive some huge sum of money, or both. I know that he has made several other odd, discredited claims, including about COVID and vaccines. I realize that it sounds important to someone who knows nothing about any of this that "the inventor of the mRNA vaccine" said something they can use to argue in support of their anti-vaccination nonsense, but the simple fact is that no single person "invented" even one of the vaccines, much less all of them.

I also know that he did say a while back that very young children should not receive the mRNA vaccines at that time, but since that was the general consensus and they weren't being vaccinated, it didn't and doesn't follow that older children and adults shouldn't be vaccinated, then or now.

I'll also remind folks that sometimes, a combination of fame, finances, and other things cause once-sensible people to do some pretty odd things. Look no further than Rudy Giuliani and Sydney Powell and all the "Kraken of evidence" nonsense.

Dr. Malone is not responsible for the development of mRNA vaccines as he claims to be. He was a contributor to the research into mRNA; however, he's not even one of the most lauded contributors. It's crazy to me that people who believe so much in conspiracy theories fail to pick on some of the most obvious attempts to abuse influence. Dr. Malone has an incredibly powerful agenda for being critical of these vaccines. He is literally promoting alternative treatments....hahah...the guy is trying to line his pockets with gold, he does not give a shit about your wellbeing, he's simply looking to make a quick buck

I will guess you watched the video and are confirming it is Malone. I have not and have no reason to do so. However, Bob Malone did do some pretty meaningful work on mRNA years ago and it would be both unfair and incorrect to discount his work, at least during that time. That said, if he is now claiming to have "invented 'the' mRNA vaccine," it's truly sad news that such a person would have gone that route. As to the cause or what his motives are (not "might be"), I do not know so I cannot directly address either.

I will say this without hesitation: given the vast consensus among researchers, doctors, etc. who know the science and medicine applicable (and in this particular case have had much more recent direct involvement than Malone), it would be foolhardy to take any "lone voice," pro or con, as the final and only authority on any of the interrelated science and medicine. To take a "lone voice" that is in direct opposition to the 1000s of people who know it is not only foolhardy it is courting disaster. While it is theoretically possible that such a lone voice could be the accurate voice, in cases like this with so many people and so much medicine and science involved, the odds of that being the case are incalculably low.

One thing that is becoming clearer and clearer to me is that the pro-Covid vax mob (which is more often the left, the media, and the government - which are all one and the same) are really a new religion. They are "right," so you should listen to no one other than them. There is NO possibility that anything is or could be wrong with this vax. The clergy (Biden, Fauci, Congress, and the media) have ordained that all should take the vax - without questions - and their denomination are dutifully following. No other side of the story questions are recommended or allowed.

I am in no way against vaccinations. I've had plenty (some within the last year.) What I have a HUGE problem with is the pure amount of disinformation being spread by the Covid vaxers and the amount of obfuscation! I have good reasons for being skeptical of my government, the left, and the media, so I want to draw my OWN conclusions on the vax's safety, based on the information that's available to me. However, when you pro Covid vaxers only allow the pro, but try to hide the con, that's reason enough for me to be concerned. Sort of that The lady doth protest too much, methinks situation. You're just overly pressing everyone, while only making room for one side of the story, so reasoning people - not just following people - tend to see some red flags.

The vaccinated are not the ones overwhelming the hospital system in MS.

The hospitals are in _bad_ shape, and things are about to get a _whole_ lot worse.

There are shortages of: beds, equipment, personnel, various important supplies needed to administer care for ALL patients, etc.

Hospital in north MS just had a a whole department quit. They have NOBODY, not even temp/travel/etc to fill it.

That sucks.
