The Hill's Kim Iversen tackled the subject of vaccine skepticism in a rather sober analysis. She makes a pretty good case for blaming our leaders on the polarization over the Covid-19 vaccines as she traces the conflicting messages spewed forth since the pandemic began. Watch for yourself and make up your own mind.

Thanks for this KF. Nobody was screaming or talking over the other.
Really wish the narrative would quit focusing on the buzzword "antivaxxer" as if there are really that many. The truth is the unknown of such a young untested product. The truth is not knowing if your blood runs slow or that you may have unknown heart condition. The truth is knowing you had Covid ..built antibodies and moved on with your life. This jab isn't one size fits all. That truth is the main truth.
The trust is it's not really about the virus.
I found an interesting subreddit the other day which follows the social media posts of anti vaxxers as they post about the vaccine, mask mandates, Fauci, and every other nonsense propaganda all the way until their death. If anyone is interested, it’s a good read: https://www.reddit.com/r/HermanCainAward
If a source of information is anti-vaccine or anti-natural immunity, I immediately find another source of information.
It was all pretty good until Blue Girl asserted at the end that if you are opposed to vaccine and masks that you are "pro-virus."
The media cannot seem to resist demonizing those who don't agree with it's narrative.
@8:46am All valid concerns early on but now that the data is robust I don't think theres much of an argument to be had on whether or not they are safe, if they help, or if you should get one. Remember, any data on strength of natural immunity vs. vaccine is going to be inherently skewed. Building natural immunity is predicated on surviving the first round of Covid-19, 4 million didn't, where as the vaccine is trying to prevent people from dying. Data isn't looking like those who have been infected will need a shot for a while but anyone who hasn't should get one, especially those at higher risk (the trouble is a lot of younger people don't realize when theyre at higher risk, which is one reason why we preach universal vaccination)

Says the anti-vaxxer.
Why don’t you ask Kim Wade what he thinks?
Oh. Wait.
2:10 ...another one who is ignoring the CDC data about the vaccine and the vaxxed !! They are not working to keep folks from being bit again and now they are saying the vax is no longer helping the "at risk" folks in many cases. So in your self righteous big brain do some science with that.
@2:44 -
Remember, YOU ARE NOT A HORSE.
TL;DR Credibility slowly eroded. Self inflicted problem.
2:10 PM
And how old is Kim Wade?
4:18 -
You, too, are not a horse.
Remember this.
2:44 PM Mind providing a source along with your wild claim? I'm going to assume, since obviously what you said is not true at all, that you are mischaracterizing fairly logical information.
2 things, since I'm going to assume your a "natural immunity guy"
Natural immunity is predicated on you surviving the disease the first round, many do not.
The vaccines attempt to provide protections for those who would have died from infection. Obviously in some, rare, cases these people unfortunately do still die. This is not common
"...from being bit again" I'm...well honestly I don't really follow your line of thought here...if you mean it doesn't reduce the risk of you getting it significantly, that's absolutely false. If you mean it doesn't reduce your risk of transmitting it, that is also absolutely false. People seized on "vaccinated can still spread", while this means what it means, it does not mean vaccinated people are as likely as unvaccinated to spread the disease, it significantly helps reduce this chance.
9:19 : No, it doesn't reduce the chance ! I got the stupid sh!t from a vaxxed person. And beat it with my own good health and a diet of D3 , ZINC and C ......SO MANY HERE MUST BE DRUG REPS .
2:10. Waiting to make a decision on an experimental vaccine without a clear history of long-term safety is not being "anti-vax." Strange how the education level most resistant to getting stuck are Ph.D's. Maybe they know something you don't. Actually, I bet they know a lot of things you don't.
