Insurance Commissioner Mike Chaney issued the following statement.
State Fire Marshal and Insurance Commissioner Mike Chaney is encouraging all First Responders, including Fire Fighters and Emergency Medical Service personnel to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
“First Responders are on the front line daily, protecting the public and need to be protected from the COVID-19 virus and not become super spreaders,” said Chaney. “There are more than 16,000 first responders in the state including firefighters and EMS. It is my sincere hope that all first responders answer this call to get vaccinated which in turn will help all of us fulfill our mission to protect lives and property in the state.”
The Mississippi State Fire Academy (MSFA) is experiencing a significant outbreak among students resulting in many classes being cancelled. The students contracting the virus are unvaccinated.
“This variant is a serious threat to those who are unvaccinated and getting the COVID-19 vaccine is the most effective way to prevent illness,” said Chaney.

Getting the vaccine doesn't "prevent" a fucking thing.
Is he a liar or an idiot?
What the hell are you smoking, 3:21? When 95-plus percent of new hospitalizations and a large percentage of new cases overall are in NON-vaccinated people, I'd say the vaccine prevents a hell of a lot.
Wish we had one that could prevent stupidity. But then again, you wouldn't take it.
@3:40
OK Borg
You can keep your botnet
@3:40, Are you in China or here, must be here due to the time difference.
You are being lied to. The majority of hospitalizations are in vaccinated people, that’s what this vaccine does. Antibody dependent enhancement. Ask israel and Gibraltar
Those that are not vaccinated should not be allowed in ANY public location. If smoking can be banned, so can stupid people.
@5:58, Why are vaccinated people concerned? Go:
Vaccinated are driving the variants; eventually it will not be able to be suppressed -so don't act so surprised when it comes out. You shouldn't be surprised now.
Not sure why vaccinated are so concerned about unvaxxed since they call them stupid and wish death on them
824, I'm not 558 but I'll give you a couple of answers.
One, I have grandchildren under 12 who I care about. Really really care about. And I dont want them needing a hospital bed when none are available due to the idiots in this state and this nation.
2, I have friends who need health care todat; one on chemo that is suffering from pneumonia, another needing serious heart repair - and the hospitals being overrun by stupid folks that are refusing medical care in the form of a vaccine are tying up all the medical care facilities - strange how you trust the folks telling you to take the vaccine when you get deathly I'll from not taking their advice
And 3) I have friends in the medical community that are working their asses off to take care of the stupid people who don't follow their advice - advice tgat if taken would let them go back to a reasonable work schedule.
Now - why don't you tell us why we ought not be concerned. Forgetting the fact that there are always the chance that I could need an EE/ICU bed tomorrow after driving thru the waterworks curve or having am accident on my farm equipment.
5:58 Can’t wait to see you out and about shopping local while I avoid the Post Office and the Library.
The same officials pushing for everyone to be vaccinated, as though they care SO MUCH, are the same officials who denied any therapeutic treatment to high-risk people throughout this entire pandemic and as a result thousands died, many alone in the hospital with no comfort from family or friends.
For a year people were lied to and told NOTHING could be given to help with their Covid infections. This case rise is due to the fact that doctors have their hands tied and are afraid to prescribe anything… so everyone goes home, gets sicker, then ends up at the hospital when they could have been treated from the start!!!
Hell no to safe, reliable medicine like HCQ, yes please to experimental mRNA lipid nanoparticle shot that makes spike proteins. Wake up people!! You’re being manipulated into an irreversible health decision for a virus with a 99% survival rate. The cases are up but the deaths are still (relatively) low thank God; but they don’t tell you that. You can’t undo what these vaccines do… and you can STILL get Covid even after you’ve been vaxxed.
8:24, because those of you that are too ignorant or just plain dumb to eradicate a virus that is killing people, disrupting families' lives, and turning upside down a world should not be given priority in medical care. Just stay at your house and leave the rest of us to regain our normal daily activities.
HCQ only works in some cases and even then it has to be administered early on.
When you talk about stupid, and ignorant, the center of that universe is the narcissistic personality. I won't use the post at 9:32 as an example because that would be pointing fingers, and we don't want to do that.
With the narcissist, it's all about "their" relatives, "their" friends, and how "they" are being inconvenienced by some intruder into "their" world. No sympathy whatsoever for the poor intruder that maybe fighting, for life, against the COVID. That would be pointing fingers, and we don't want to do that. I would say that it is reported that there are 9 signs of a narcissistic personalty, 8 according to some experts, and the post at 9:32 is displaying all 10 of them, but that would be pointing fingers, and we don't want to do that.
The vaccinated are the superspreaders.
So, when local nurses and doctors mention that the most in the ICU's ARE vaccinated, that means nothing?
Someone is lying.
Government never lies. Big Pharma never lies.
@7:38
So you sre a viral pathologist and a clinical psychologist? How do you find time to shitpost your asinine opinions on JJ?
Kingfish, Cant believe I'm saying this but based on some of these comments, I'm starting to see the necessity of moderating a platform. The level of BS that some of YOUR commenters are being ALLOWED to spread is alarming and should concern you. While UMMC is building a field hospital in a f'ing parking garage, some of us are on a 'blog' posting about how they are suddenly leaders in the field of immunology. Freedom of speech speaks for itself, but there's some level of responsible for choosing 'clicks' over the health of thy neighbor. At a minimum, throttle the number of radical nutjob posts.
Kingfish, HCQ works in most people if given early on at the onset of symptoms. But now doctors don’t feel comfortable prescribing because it’s been politicized to no end.
That’s the point so many have made… once people are in the hospital and ventilated it’s not as effective. But given early on at the onset of symptoms it dramatically reduces viral load and helps people fight off the virus, which would help, along with vitamins and other medicine, keep people from overrunning the hospitals.
Also want to thank you for allowing multiple viewpoints to be heard and not censored. That is much appreciated.
Yeah, KF. When are you gonna get with the Facebook/Twitter/Youtube/Etc. program of censoring anything that contradicts the official narrative. Come on, man. The globalists need you on the team. Maybe you should even limit comments to registered, paid trolls. That would solve all the anti-narrative information and opinions and make the world a much safer place.
@7:41
The vaxxed are not only super spreaders, they are causing the variants.
Sort of like when the media used to tell us that overuse of antibiotics and antibacterial cleaners would cause a bacterial superbug. Yes, I know there is a difference between a virus and bacteria. But the variants are coming these rushed vaccines.
But the NPC/vaxxbots won’t believe it until they see Dr. Sanjay Gupta on CNN reporting it to Anderson Cooper.
thats adorable 8:51....you think Kingfish isn't one of the radical nutjobs. He's literally still talking about Hydroxychlorquine being useful despite not one single reputable organization or agency approving its use, nor a single peer reviewed study suggesting it could help. He routinely approves posts suggesting that all we need to do is take vitamin C or livestock antiparsitics (Ivermectin) and we'll be fine.
KF's response regarding HCQ is straight out of the government playbook. They don't want anything to detract from their campaign to vaccinate the world (which by the way only works in some cases).
@9:54 am.
In case you haven’t figured the game out yet; Fauci himself said Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of sars-Cov-1, way back in medieval 2005. This information is suppressed and hidden so people will get their experimental shot. Cures and treatments get in the way of shot distribution, billions of dollars to be made, and societal control.
They needed the virus in order to get the vaccine rolled out. And they needed people desperate and clamoring for it, so that’s why treatment was denied this entire pandemic…. to scare everyone into getting the shot.
Here are 275+ studies, among those showing provable efficacy (65%) in early HCQ treatment. https://c19hcq.com/
8:38, where did you see any indication, of what you insinuated, in the post, at 7:38? The post at 7:38 must have hit a nerve for you to respond in such a way. You don't have to suffer with these problems, alone.
I agree with you, 8:51. Any comment made to a comment board that demands that some post shouldn't be allowed, shouldn't be allowed.
"Kingfish, HCQ works in most people if given early on at the onset of symptoms. But now doctors don’t feel comfortable prescribing because it’s been politicized to no end."
No, other than the early onset. Hydroxy can (sometimes) provide (minor) mitigation of COVID in some patients but not in "most." If it doesn't do more damage to them or kill them first.
First, as with most off-label uses, it is tricky to get the dosage right for the off-label use. The efficacy of it with COVID is only with elevated doses above its "standard" dosage as anti-malarial and RA drug. However, as the dosage increases, so does the potential for toxicity. On top of all of that, it has numerous potential interaction problems and potential side effects for a small but not insignificant number of people, especially at the doses required for COVID efficacy. And once again, all of this was well known long prior to COVID. Yes, millions upon millions of doses have been given in parts of the world where it is an effective anti-malarial drug (it isn't even effective against all strains) but at that dosage it would not be effective against COVID.
So, in very broad lay terms, if you are a doctor and see a patient who is unquestionably known to you to be within the short time-frame for it to have any potential effect (that alone would be very rare), which would most often be before you could really get a sense of their particular case's likely range of outcome (i.e., this person will probably handle COVID well, poorly, etc.), do you risk doing more or other damage or killing them with a greatly elevated dosage of a drug that might not even work at all?
Does anyone with even the tiniest speck of common sense really - REALLY - believe that most doctors on Earth secretly know that hydroxy or whatever other drug would safely "cure" all or even the majority of their COVID patients but are keeping it a secret amongst the 1000s of themselves because...because...OK, why (and how) are doctors supposedly doing this?
Do like me and get maxvaxxed. That's right. All the shots. And boosters. All at once. Just think; 2 Moderna, 2 J&J, 2 Pfizer, 2 AZ, plus boosters for each. I'm hoping to somehow get my hands on some Sputnik & Sinovac too. You can never be too careful. So all the haters refusing to get vaccinated are ok with me. Just means more of that sweet, sweet science juice for me.
Getting the vaccine doesn't "prevent" a fucking thing.
Is he a liar or an idiot?
Shocking that Mississippi is the poorest, dumbest state in the Union.
@11:22
Exactly. All the extra monitoring consumes resources we don't have. It's not so much that a 'different' solution might not be helpful... it's that it takes people/resources to monitor these folks for organ damage from massive doses.
@11:22am
The early onset is usually when everyone is getting tested and showing symptoms. This is exactly when you give HCQ, along with vitamin D, zpack, zinc. When everyone goes to get tested, they could be given a cure and sent home with a plan of action if they desire.
Dosing is not difficult at all, so I’m not sure why that seems concerning to you. It’s not difficult at all to find an appropriate dosing level and all that’s needed is one week of treatment at a very safe dosage to treat Covid infection. I personally have family members including at-risk and elderly who have recovered safely and are healthy after this treatment.
I was wondering, do you also know the safety data and long term effects of the lipid nanoparticle coating delivery system in the mRNA Moderna vaccine? Because I doubt Suzie Q at Walgreens has a clue…
Doctors have been held hostage by a corrupt media and government associations that demonized HCQ from the beginning. They can’t take the liability risk to prescribe when no “standard of care” has been established (on purpose). This is the first time in modern medical history that patients have been turned away/sent home left and right after testing positive when there are safe, available treatments and that is due to politicization and corruption of the agencies that are supposed to protect us. It’s not that they are “hiding” the cure — it’s that they are taking personal risk if they deviate from the CDC guidelines (ever-changing as they are.)
Thousands of people across the country have been safely treated this way by doctors willing to buck the system… but this information has been “fact checked” off of social media, off of every platform, etc.
There’s no money in these treatment drugs like HCQ, Ivermectin, inhalers, etc. They are old and cheap. Big pharma is making a killing off of their vaccines, so they have to discredit any other available treatments.
As I stand, bravo 12:12, bravo.
The delta variant came out of India starting in late 2020. The second poster at 9:52 said, "The vaxxed are not only super spreaders, they are causing the variants." That's hard to believe since delta evolved before the vaccines were even available. Thanks for playing.

That is a link to an article from a fringe publication, not giving health advice, but asking questions. Remember, we must follow the money, I mean science.
The classic example of a stooge, is saying, valuable resources would be consumed by using a medicine that is considered one of the essential medicines of the world, by the United Nations. Now, why would a medicine, considered the world over as safe, be demonized? I really wonder. If this virus is so dangerous, shouldn't ANY solution that has more than a couple of decades safety record be used, and not demonized?
To the genius at 12:43, we aren't talking about late 2020, we are talking NOW, like right NOW. You interjected "faith" when you said that it was hard to "believe". We aren't talking about "faith", we are talking about science. Where is your proof that the vaccinated aren't the superspreaders, NOW? Be careful NOW, you say too much, you may be embarrassed. For the record, I'm still playing, going for the grand prize.
@12:43
India was doing “vaccine trials” as early as 3/2020. Basically they were domestically copying the vaccines produced by the West. And every elite, celebrity, and frontline medical worker was quietly getting the vax by June of 2020. I know you libtards think you know everything. But you have a lot to learn about the way the world works. And definitely have a lot to learn about how India works. The rich literally shit on the poor and would be enraged if the poor got access before them.
