The Mississippi Board of Medical Licensure suspended the license of Dr. Walter Wolfe today after it determined he was an "immediate danger to the public." The Board said the Ob-gyn had an affair with a married employee and fathered a child with her. The suspension was issued without a hearing.
Dr. Wolfe |
The patient's ex-husband sued him in 2016 for alienation of affection in Hinds County Circuit Court. The complaint states the patient worked for Dr. Wolfe in 2015 before the affair began. The suspension order states:
In one of Licensee's responses to the lawsuit, he acknowledged and admitted to a relationship with this patient. While pregnant and during sex with said patient, Licensee attempted without the patient's knowledge or consent to insert four (4) Misoprostol (Cytotec) tablets into the patient's vagina in an attempt to induce an abortion; however, the patient later gave birth to Licensee's child in 2016...
A hearing will be held on July 24. The husband sued Dr. Wolfe for $3 million. The case was blessed to Judge Tomie Green. It settled and was dismissed in April.
Kingfish note: Any victims of such misconduct are encourage to confidentially contact the Mississippi Board of Medical Licensure.

This mother f*cker attempted to kill his own child in utero. Let the evil that is this narcissistic beast sink in.
But don't blame him solely for the affair.

On a positive note, he's not a pedophile.
Do you know what you call a person who graduates last in his class in medical school?
"Doctor"
Now I know why his first wife ran his ass off a few years ago.
He seems nice.
He is an excellent physician. I know him personally and professionally. He is not a lunatic. Some of his life choices have been piss poor.
So, go ahead throw those stones.
Hahahahahahaha. My wife had a check up with him on Tuesday after giving birth to our daughter. This is the second child of mine he has delivered. We always knew he was a creepy weirdo. Plus in both births the nurses did everything and he literally came in for less then two minutes in the end. Hahahaha
Nobody said he is a lunatic. He's just a narcissist, a cavorting adulterer, a power model who abuses his position of authority, an attempted murderer, an employment-based sexual harasser and a person totally unfit for the occupation he held.
"Life Choices" Dick's hatband! Prisons are full of embezzlers who were excellent accountants. And the Uni-bomber was a fine novelist.
9:29, are you serious?
He tried to abort his baby DURING sex AGAINST the mother's wishes. That's in the suspension order.
This is not just a case of someone who on one occasion had a wandering eye and affair. My goodness.
@9:29
WAS an excellent physician. I hope he saved his money. I'm not sure how what the job market is like for disgraced medical specialists who have been stripped of their licensing and deemed a danger to the public.
Come on 9:29. Those acts disqualify him from being an excellent physician. Like saying a child molesting priest is an excellent priest.
Excellent physicians do not attempt to surreptitiously abort children WHILE having sex with their patients. Piss poor life choices are one thing, but those choices that intersect so directly with the practice of medicine prove that he is nothing of an "excellent physician."
But, if the past has taught us anything, this doctor will probably be ON the Board of Medical licensure in the next 3 years. He passed the sex with patient criterion.
Is there still time to make the republican primary? He seems like the typical Christian Values Make America Great Again candidate.
@9:29....
Wow.
He forcibly inserted abortion-inducing pills - FOUR of them - into an a woman he impregnated while she was married to someone else.
Can you tell me the names of your other doctors so I don't visit them? If throwing stones isn't warranted here, when are they?
I'm curious how you can just dismiss this as a "poor life decision."
@9:29 AM - No! He is not! "First do no harm!"
and Sarah Fowler for the rip-off.... again.

What about the premeditated attempted murder of his unborn but
Viable fetus.
This is an action that could warm the heart of only
Satan himself.
Hey, 9:29, stone thrower here. Let he who has not inserted abortifacients into their married paramour's vagina in order to kill their unborn child cast the first stone.
@ 9:55
Yea, kind of like Bill Clinton....
"I did not have sexual relations with that woman".
@ 10:21
Let's not forget the guaranteed support he will get from the leftist that stop by here for being "pro-choice".
He is practicing in Canton, MS because he has been kicked off
Every Hospital Medical Staff in Jackson.
@9:40
The last humans to be exterminated by a malevolent leftist artificial intelligence will remember Ted Kaczinski as a desperate genius who was trying to save humanity from destruction by what means he had available.
This scumbag doctor was only trying to cover up an affair. The two are not conparable.
The Medical Board stated "Yada yada yada however, the patient later gave birth to Licensee's child in 2016..."
Now hang on just a doggone minute, the "Licensee's child"? What the hell happened to "her body, her right"? Did the Medical Licensing Board step into a relative quagmire of a conundrum by lack of thought or mistake, or are they attempting to set a precedent here? I can only guess the "suspension" was to set up the "hearing" in 2 weeks where they will revoke this guys ticket to "practice".
How old is this child now? Either this rumor or a parallel one was older. Was Wolfe so suave and hard to resist that it happened more than once?
Not sure if anywhere a necrophilic pathologist exists, (though there may be a history of necrophilic funeral home employees) but if they did exist, they would be less danger to the public than an oversexed obstetrician.
BAD life choices indeed!
Rare for me to say, but in this case: "protect the public!"
I am a physician in the Jackson area. The ENTIRE medical community has known about his bizarre and illegal behavior for YEARS. Multiple hospitals have thrown him off staff, but I doubt any of them have reported him to the national data bank or the Board of Medicine. I, personally, was never in any position to do anything official, unfortunately. However, I hold the hospitals and official physicians involved in multiple complaints and investigations about him responsible for allowing him to spread his seed and evilness throughout the Metro area for thirty years. Shame on y'all!
Pandora’s Box, I don’t follow anything you said. ‘splain yourself.
So hold on. There was no call for this "until" he tried to about the fetus. I understand how f'ed up that situation in itself is, BUT(big but), is this about sleeping with a patient(had to be consensual), or trying to abort the baby? Seems all was right until she got pregnant. Any chance the victim was cool with it until she realized he wasn't on the baby daddy($$$) train? I'm not trying to victim blame, and the whole situation is messed up in all kinds of ways, but it makes one wonder.
Maison Better get paid up front.
His walking around money just dried up.
Ken Cleveland is not qualified to be executive director, so I don’t believe anything he says or does is the truth. A doctor who can’t do surgeries and opens up a spa that failed miserably So our Governor appoints him to an executive director position because he can’t make a living at his Spa , Medical
License board is poorly run by a director who is unqualified: so don’t believe everything you read, Guess Phil got some free Botox so he gave Cleveland a job, Cleveland is over his head in his position so he will mess this up,
If you're a young woman, do you want this man as your OB doctor? If you're a man, do you want this doctor treating your daughter or young wife in the stirrups? Obviously, the answer is "no", so there is good reason for the Medical Board to immediately suspend his license. There's an old saying, "better safe than sorry" -- especially before there is another young victim.
11:52, are you Dr Wolfe? How is any information about Dr Ken Cleveland relevant here?
@11:52
The Ex. Dir. of the Medical Board is not appointed by the Gov, he/she is hired by the Board.
Ask the nurses he worked with.
4:20 I've heard what some of those nurses said. It will make for some "shock and awe" at a hearing.
