Most of Lynn’s money is out of state law firms. Pretty easy to fundraise when your donors are recipients of huge contracts from the AG’s office.
Dembert has to go out of state to film his hokey tv ads with the paid “old lady” actress again. Not to mention the actors who are paid to appear to be interested and supporting him in the ads. Yeah, that costs a bunch of money.
So the one potential candidate who's got plenty of money ain't out scrounging to stuff his campaign account with golden parachute money.
Explain it to all the voters like they're 5.
He doesn't need it, he's a billionaire. Now go sit in your corner and think about what you've done.
@9:45 here’s your ELi5: People are are independently wealthy don’t need to use the office to enrich themselves like career politicians
Gunn can ride off into the sunset with his funds. He will be lucky to win an office in his HOA.
I think I read that Gunn has taught Sunday School. That has to count for something.
So Lynn, what is it that you say you do here?
I'm one of the token women who toe the line and protect the good ole-boys by not pursuing charges when I ought to. This keeps State Auditors in check. Other than that? Nothing more really.
You need to check who's getting the money from the cable companies. They have paid the legislators tons of money to screw the cities and the citizens of Mississippi. Check out HB 1664 and SB 2781. Our citizens are getting ready to be screwed by big money.
9:07 AM ... You are correct. No telling how many hundreds of millions has already walked into someone's pocket. The majority of state 'leaders' are more than corrupt. I wish I could get O'Keefe here to actually investigate the wrong doings of the most corrupt state in the nation. Start with illegals and contractors. That's where the money is in Mississippi. Federal dollars flowing to only the 'correct' people.
