Ed is a good judge and a better person. I hope he enjoys his retirement.
I never knew him as a judge but as a man he is top tier! Hope he enjoys his retirement
It has been my privilege to serve alongside Judge Hannan. He has large shoes to fill in both the County Court and Youth Court world. S.O’Neal
When Sheri Hilton unexpectedly died, she left behind a German Shepherd. Ed and his wife took in Maggie where she became a beloved part of the family.
Good man! He's been good for the court system in the community. Enjoy the retirement sir! Thank you for serving.
Ed Hannan is a stand up man, and a great judge. Was a great lawyer back in the day. Hope he enjoys his retirement and a career of great service.
A true professional, thoughtful and learned. Appeared before him as counsel with a fair result every time, and he eagerly offered counsel when I joined the bench. Echo the comments above, Judge Hannan you will be missed and always appreciated. - Pieter Teeuwissen
I agree! Ed is a stand up guy. Hope he loves retirement! I sure love retirement.
Best of luck to Tink and beautiful family! From a colleague at the Ole Miss Law Journal.
Caring thoughtful honest person— we were blessed by his service as a judge.
Congratulations to Judge Hannan from a former law partner on an honorable career and his well-deserved retirement.
When Ed and I were younger, we coached our daughters in girl's softball. You learn about someone in good and bad times. Either way, Ed led in the very best of ways, no matter the circumstances. His life has been a wonderful example of that. Enjoy your retirement, good man!
When Ed ran for office, I remember him standing up at a Madison County Bar meeting and saying, 'You may not like how I rule, but I promise you, I will make a ruling based on what I believe to be right and keep cases moving.' It stood out to me because I had cases stalled in other courts. Job well done, Judge.
Congrats on your retirement Ed!
