Is the State boil notice still in effect?
As clear as the water......
If anyone with an ounce of common sense that's still stuck in Jackson, they should have been boiling the water
for many years now.
5:32, I don't believe that boiling Jackson's water will remove the lead.
Ammonia leaks, insufficient staff, low water pressure, turbidity.
I can dip a bucket into the Pearl and get turbid risky water free. Why pay Water Bills and for Lil Choke to fly, party and play in DC, sucking down our fees and taxes to suck up for a Federal fix if he's such a lying loser no one worth beans will work for him to deliver basic city services?
When is Chowke getting the Presidential Medal of Freedom? Everyone else is getting one. Isn't he woke enough?
How does a customer know if their water is sourced from a well or from the surface?
6:55, I assume you can call the number provided and hope they give you accurate information.
I'm on Henderson Road (north half is Jackson; south half is Byram), and we are on the Maddox Road well. We never lost water during the last ice storm (unlike residents who depend on surface water from OB Curtis -- they were totally without water for an extended period). All we had was low pressure for a while when that was going on.
7:55. I thought all of Henderson was on well system? Where is the separation? Address?
Regardless of the source (surface/well), the water is still contaminated with lead. Only in Jackistan can you get lead poisoning from the water but also from the air (bullets).
9:10, I think you're right. I believe that Henderson Rd and westward is on the Maddox well system... Forest Hill Rd and eastward is on the OB Curtis system. Here's the only map I could find: https://www.mississippifreepress.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Jackson-Water-System-by-Age_wide_cred-Neel-Schaffer.jpg
