JPD issued the following statement.
On Wednesday July 9, 2025, at approimately 4:00pm, a large shootout occurred in the area of Brookhollow Drive, Anvil Circle and Kingswood Circle. A group of young black males occupying a Silver Hyundai Sonata and a separate group of young black males occupying a black Jeep were involved in a shootout. The incident began in the 5200 block of Brookhollow Drive and spilled over onto Kingswood Circle and Anvil Circle. Over one hundred rounds were recovered throughout the subdivision. |

One suspect 18-year-old Linden Ford was arrested. Two firearms were recovered from his residence. A warrant has been issued for 20-year-old Quinmarion Crisler who also has been identified. Investigators are actively working to identify additional suspects that were involved in the shootout.

When we were kids we would have "shootouts" with cap pistols and pretend rifles. Fun and games. These new brats never played with toy guns. It is too easy to get the real thing. They do not realize the life changing nature of what they do until after they have done it. Lucky no one was killed.

Any self respecting redneck knows you can rarely find rounds but casings are typically recovered.
Many of these clowns toting these AK and AR style pistols don't know you need to use a brace to be accurate .

It was easier to put your hand on guns when we were young in the 80s and 90s. No background checks etc. Hell they were racked in plain sight in every pickup truck in my high school parking lot.
