No, 'DEI hires' are not being fired, son. The folks in "DEI Office" positions are being put on admin leave. Ostensibly, their position will be ended but that doesn't mean they are going to be unlawfully removed. IF they are political appointees, as most of them are, it's Normal to be replaced at every administration change. Stop the Rah Rah propaganda. You misuse the term "DEI hire" I guess as if you think every minority or disabled hire is under some DEI program. If they were hired without cause, the system would fix that eventually, but, no, you're wrong that "DEI hires" are being fired.

Go back and look how the government counts unemployed. After a few months they take you off of the employable list. That's where 15% of the employees are on this unemployable list. There are people ready to fill the jobs the illegal folks worked . Just get ready to pay. If you are paying an illegal $ 12.50, you are probably going to have to pay a citizen $25.00 as fair wage . That’s why money grabbers hired the illegals in the first place, it wasn’t that they couldn’t find people to work , it’s because they could cut cost and pocket the profits.

@12:51 -- Most of those jobs don't warrant a $25/hour pay. So much of the young, American workforce these days are pathetic and have very little to offer an employer -- can't manage to get to work 5 days a week, can't add, have no social skills, etc. They certainly don't deserve that pay!! They have no idea what a full day of good, honest work involves. Entitlement at its finest!

Illegals have devalued the price for skilled and unskilled workers, when that pool of workers are gone, competition will drive the cost and it going to increase significantly . Americans citizens will have a new incentive to work once they are paid a living and fare wage.

Serious question, how long will it take to close the schools that are failing? Or are they going to stay open and continue their failures?

What is the real problem with failing schools? It has to be one of three things or a combination of those three things. Either the teachers are terrible, the students are stupid, or the administration is keeping learning from happening, right?

I shut up about "15 bucks an hour" whining when I Inputted my high school minimum wage job rate into an inflation calculator. It'd be 17 bucks an hour today. There's a good reason young folks want fair wages and opportunity for citizens, not illegals. @11:21- That's probably the dumbest thing ever written on this blog (well maybe). No workers-no food at the grocery or inflation of food will go way up. Fine the farmers and ranchers and the price will be added to their food cost.

@12:51-most of the construction workers make at least $20/hr. When is the last time you put on a roof when it was 105 degrees?
