The Titanic's doom is a story told over and over, imprinted onto our collective memory. Rarely remembered is Carpathia's near-suicidal dash through an ice field to save over 700 souls. The water that doomed Titanic forged a hero that night as Captain Arthur Rostron performed seamanship that was nothing short of legendary. Rostron and his crew deserve their own movie. Maybe we will get one when Hollywood gets tired of making comic book movies. Until that time comes, enjoy the video posted below that tells the Carpathia's tale. Enjoy.

Amazing..... Thanks!
Fascinating video KF. Good job for bringing it to us. Have heard a lot about this rescue - but this video (whoever produced it) - puts it into a way to understand this better than anything I have ever read or seen.
Glad you have little better to do than search Utube or whatever to find this stuff for us, but have to give you credit this time for finding something that was both very interesting and well presented.
So i repeat 7:37's comment - Thanks. Worth the watch
Enjoyed this, KF. Thanks!
