Well, well, well, it appears an Ole Miss basketball player didn't get any NIL money. The Oxford Police Department issued the following statement and mug shot.
On April 26, 2024, at approximately 5:07 PM, the Oxford Police Department responded to the area of Price Hill Park for a reported shooting. Officers arrived quickly and detained several persons of interest. During the course of the investigation, detectives learned that a vehicle was in the process of being repossessed when a male, Jamarion Demontrez Sharp (22 of Oxford, MS), fired a gun towards the victim. No one was injured in the incident. Sharp was taken into custody and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked for Aggravated Assault. He was given a $100,000 bond by the Municipal Court Judge.

who was the victim? a repo tow truck operator?
He might be a candidate for some of that laser brain therapy I just learned about on JJ
7'5" and only 3 PPG... not only is he an idiot, but he also has no BB skills. He was pursuing a degree in multi-disciplinary studies... pretty funny when you think about it.
7'5" and seriously thought no one would identify him...
This dude is 7 feet 5 inches the tallest player in the NCAA. I’d like to know what kind of car was he driving and what booster purchased it!
Booster called Police Chief, it’s just a misunderstanding!!! No law was broken! Case dismissed.
In the late 80s/early 90s Florida had a 7’2” center named Dwayne Schinztius. Dude had a mullet with spiked hair on top.
He got thrown out of a fraternity party, got pissed, & ripped the mirror off somebody’s car. The “it wasn’t me” didn’t work out for him when the cops showed up to arrest him.
I know I know he thought someone was stealing his/booster’s car and was taking the Law in his own hands! Next time just get a description of the person and contact Law Enforcement. I’m sure the Booster has insurance!
3:48 is just about right! Boosters are the problem with college athletics. You take out that issue and make athletes pull their weight instead of just being there for the coaches who by the way are just as much of the problem . Look up “The Bag Man” and it explains it all.
What’s his coach gonna say? You shouldn’t assault someone like I did & got fired as Head Coach of Texas!!
So, it's aggravated assault if you miss?
Yep...Kingfish left out the fact that the giant fired a shot toward the person of the tow-truck operator.
According to today's radio-news, the perp was a member of the Ole Myth basketball team LAST YEAR.
Did you actually READ the post? The press release says he fired a shot towards the victim.
The Ole Miss website states he was a senior on the 2023-2024 basketball team. That would be THIS YEAR.
"023-24 (SENIOR): Named to the Kareem Abdul Jabbar Award preseason watch list ... Appeared in 31 games for Ole Miss, making 15 starts ... Averaged 15.8 minutes, 3.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game ... Finished with a team and SEC-best 75 blocks on the season, the third-most in school history ... Blocked four shots and added a pair of steals in his Ole Miss debut on November 6 against Alabama State ... Grabbed a season-best 10 rebounds on November 14 against Detroit Mercy, adding eight points, two steals, and a pair of blocked shots ... Became the 95th student-athlete in NCAA Division-I history to hit 300 career blocks on December 10 against UCF, and one of just 14 to hit that mark in three years or less ... Recorded another 10-rebound game on December 31 against Bryant, scoring eight points ... On January 10 against Florida, set a program record for blocks in a single game with nine, helping Ole Miss tie the SEC record for most blocked shots as a team in a conference game with 16 ... Entered the top-10 for blocks in a single season in school history in the following game against Vanderbilt on January 13, simultaneously passing former Rebel Reginald Buckner on the all-time NCAA career blocks list ... On February 21 at Mississippi State, scored four points with 10 rebounds ... Blocked six shots, including five in the first half, on March 2 at Missouri."
Kingfish, no one reads anything anymore before being outraged. Much like the protesters across the country who can’t be bothered to learn the basics of the Israel-Palestine situation but yet don’t want to pass up an opportunity to show the world what social justice warriors they are. TikTok headlines are all they need to justify their moral superiority over the rest of us.
" This dude is 7 feet 5 inches the tallest player in the NCAA. I’d like to know what kind of car was he driving"
Oxford sources say a 1975 Porsche/VW 914.
Looks like it’s time for Biden to start forgiving car loans also…
It would be great if the Mississippi Institution of Higher Learning institute a new requirement for all University Athletes to take two courses on “ What not to do when you leave your Coaches eyesight” and “ REALLY, you did What”.
@8:29
There is no way this dude could fit into a 914 — they are tiny.

However, it was probably a 944, front-engine four cylinder made from 1992 - 1991 (and succeeded by the 968 from 1992 - 1995, when Porsche ceased making front-engine cars until they came out with the Cayenne SUV) — surprisingly roomy (as is Porsche’s headlining model the 911.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_944
944s are surprisingly roomy, but would probably require taking out one of the [vestigal] backseat and moving the track for the driver’s seat back — exactly what Ralph Sampson and Akeem Olajuan had twin 944s when they played together in Houston: https://www.texasmonthly.com/arts-entertainment/all-about-akeem-olajuwon-and-ralph-sampson/
9:29 here, sorry about the typos, but the point should come through
944s are pretty cheap (and at least 30 years old) — can probably get one for not much over $10,000: https://classiccars.com/listings/find/all-years/porsche/944
The problem is that the hourly mechanic charge is the same as for a new 911 and Porsche parts can be nose-bleed expensive
Hey 7:24, "google" the word facetious.
He should have just been relaxing with some hooch like his peers at Leghumber State U.
