Trollfest '09
Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.
Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).
Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.
Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".
In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.
In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.
Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.
Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!
This is definitely a Beaver production.

Trollfest '07
Jackson Jambalaya is the home of Trollfest '07. Catch this great event which promises to leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Sonjay Poontang and his band headline the night with a special steel cage, no time limit "loser must leave town" bout between Alan Lange and "Big Cat"Donna Ladd following afterwards. Kamikaze will perform his new song F*** Bush, he's still a _____. Did I mention there was no referee? Dr. Heddy Matthias and Lori Gregory will face off in the undercard dueling with dangling participles and other um, devices. Robbie Bell will perform Her two latest songs: My Best Friends are in the Media and Mama's, Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to be George Bell. Sid Salter of The Clarion-Ledger will host "Pin the Tail on the Trial Lawyer", sponsored by State Farm.
There will be a hugging booth where in exchange for your young son, Frank Melton will give you a loooong hug. Trollfest will have a dunking booth where Muhammed the terrorist will curse you to Allah as you try to hit a target that will drop him into a vat of pig grease. However, in the true spirit of Separate But Equal, Don Imus and someone from NE Jackson will also sit in the dunking booth for an equal amount of time. Tom Head will give a reading for two hours on why he can't figure out who the hell he is. Cliff Cargill will give lessons with his .80 caliber desert eagle, using Frank Melton photos as targets. Tackleberry will be on hand for an autograph session. KIM Waaaaaade will be passing out free titles and deeds to crackhouses formerly owned by The Wood Street Players.

Thank you KF , job well done ! I for one enjoy keeping up with this story and believe it is far from over.
Oh boo hoo. These two thugs were dope peddling scumbags.
5:11
You haven’t been affected personally by the RCSO , they were in to more than beating people up. The political arm of the department was run by IDR , if you happen to be in favor (aka a sellout) Bailey would have his deputies , in marked units, put out your political yard signs ! Facts !!
Did nt a Sheriff in North Mississippi get in a bunch of trouble and resign over having inmates putting together political signs ?
These MF,ers are going to prison for the rest of their lives. I would advise people in their (ex) county to take notice.
@5:11. If you think them being "dope dealers" makes what happen ok you are sick. In a civilized society we have to have law and order. Deal drugs, get arrested, go to jail or don't. What they did to these people is disturbing.
No person deserves an uninvited foreign object up the ass. Not even the consort of a female trooper.
Meh, the honeymoon is over. I expect Mississippi citizens to return to their old was which created guys like this. The next Goon Squad is already lurking in the CCID.
5:11, the COPS were the drug peddlers, it seems. FACTS from that report: "submitting fraudulent drug evidence to the crime lab, filing false reports, charging the victims with crimes they did not commit, and making false statements to investigators"
They stole drugs from other criminal evidence to plant, then charged the innocent falsely, and made false statements.
Let's see, what does the Bible say about things like that? Read Daniel 13-1-64 "You old relic of wicked days, your sins have now come home, which you have committed in the past, pronouncing unjust judgments, condemning the innocent and letting the guilty go free, though the Lord said, ‘Do not put to death an innocent and righteous person.’"
Death. That's what those Elders were given for false accusations against Susanna. She spurned their adulterous advances, and SHE was falsely charged and sentenced to death before Daniel intervened. Here, trusted senior cops, lying and covering up and torturing and raping. All offenses punished far worse in the Bible and UCMJ.
And, note, "letting the guilty go free" That Biblical phrase ought to worry some judges. (and that's the Bible, not me).
No, they were not choir boys. One was a felon. So what? The cops made no case, found no drugs, and falsified evidence. They were innocent until proven guilty, and even the guilty should not be treated like this, ever. Period.
Now, lots of the actually guilty WILL walk free due to their dishonor. And we will pay for it all .
Oh boo hoo. These two thugs were dope peddling scumbags.
March 23, 2024 at 5:11 PM
Be that as it may they were not guilty of that offense when the sex offenders paid them a visit. Just remember that if lawmen don't respect the law that they are sworn to uphold, then there is no law. They are criminals all the same as the guys you just identified.
Slow news day Kingfish?
@749 if the justice system would have gotten it right the first time then the goon squad wouldn’t have went down there. Eddie Parker admitted he was a convict and had waited for his day for get back at Mcalpin. When convicted murders, rapist, and child molesters are getting less time than some guys who tortured some thugs there is an issue. There is issues from top to bottom across the board.
The people deserve to see what's in Dedmon’s sealed record of misconduct. KF, got a First Amendment lawyer on the Rolodex?
Looks like the Court followed the request because the Judge didn't mess around when it came to sentencing.
8:38
No Bryan , this is a nationally covered story of (multiple ) embarrassment“you” brought to Mississippi under your failed leadership and authority!
What is Dedmon’s LEO history? When was he first hired? Where has he worked?
@5:11, The victims certainly committed crimes in their lifetime. That doesn't mean what the Goons did was ok. They definitely didn't deserve what happened to them. It is possible for someone to be a criminal at one part of their life and a victim at another.
On a side note, I would also like to thank KingFish for his coverage of this story. You put major news outlets to shame. I Know some may be feel oversaturated with this story, but it is important for people to know about.
“Thugs” and “Slow news day”…So, Dedmon is not the only one that thinks it’s okay to use sex toys and his penis under the cloak of law. I don’t think that’s the serve part they intended in serve and protect. I guess the sympathizers think the end justifies the means and they were doing what they were trained to do? Newsflash…the “officers” caught are also criminals/thugs.
9:26
That is the million dollar question! Who/what is mentioned !!
It looks like there are a few Rankin county citizens that wish they were part of the goon squad. They especially seem to like the part where the sexual assaults happened.
As a long-time republican, no, not a MAGA Trump narcissist idiolist - but that has nothing to do with this post -- I have been enlightened by listening to many of my republican friends from Rankin County over this.
Many of them are declaring that Bailey is fine, will skirt with nothing and will not run for reelection after this term. Granted, many of those making this bet have been benefitting from the political power structure of Rankin County since it became a republican stronghold some thirty years ago. Others, just tend to believe what they hear from others when they join them to drink coffee every morning.
But to listen to others in the metro area - again republicans but not part of the Rankin machine (a group that thinks, and have thought for several years that they run - or at least should run - all things republican and therefore political in the state) -- they all believe that it is only time before Bailey will either resign in a plea or be brought before a similar judge before the year is out.
What's interesting about this as to the politics of Rankin - is whether when/if Bailey goes down, does it take his former FIL down with him? True, IDR survived a previous scandel back when all the county supervisors were kicked to the pokey by Mabus, but IDR survived his trial (amazing legal movement!!) and now still seems to run the county just as he did when he was an elected official; difference now is he lives off his bank stocks and gets elected his in-laws and former in-laws. Hell of a deal because it seems to work fine!
Hard to believe that the feds in today's day-and-time will drop this without something being brought to the bar about the guy at the top (Bailey). But the same can be said about the TANF crap at DHS with Bryant.
My bet - the feds aint that dumb, or asleep at the wheel. Both Bailey, and Bryant (lets not forget, both products of the Rankin machine, controlled by IDR) won't skate. Just as my bet is with Warnock -- another JJ post -- the feds ain't sleeping at the wheel there.
I'm wanting to lock up the popcorn concession for the metro area over the next few months. You MAGA folks, or Biden apologists, have your fun between now and the end of the year
Myself -- I'm watching Rankin for the Bailey show; Hinds whatever for the Bryant show, and Madison to see what Rudy brings us. Yes, ain't no metroplex in Jackson that has multi-screens like Tinsletown in Pearl or whatever the Grand is in Madison, but I'll just sit and see what comes up on my 5G brings me. Its gonna be grand.
2:23
You’ve been keeping up my friend! Interesting and accurate perspective, as a Rankin County fella that keeps up with politics, I agree 100% with your assessment except we all want his ass gone !! As for IDR , he ll be gone as soon as Bailey eats it , he is already fading and doesn’t have control of our politics anymore in my opinion. It’s about to be the end of the Democratic stronghold that has ruled over Rankin county for decades !
I’ll have to agree that IDR, who ever that is, called the shots on politics in Rankin County and made a lot of $$$ by knowing what went where. But, he also ran a very efficient county government and helped a lot of people who couldn’t do anything in return other than say thank you. I’m in full agreement that the sheriff needs to go. Either he’s too stupid to know what this bunch of goons were doing or he knew and condoned their actions which were not only cruel but perverted.
Update: I actually witnessed an RCSO adding value to the community this morning. I saw a bad driver pass me dangerously and the deputy stop them. This is positive. Hopefully we are seeing the beginning of a new trend in MS law enforcement where they will actually put in a full day of work instead of violating our rights by blocking the road or other dubious activities. Imagine what if Bailey and Tindal had their staff working rush hour traffic or helping direct traffic at all of the schools on a daily basis, or better yet, policing the bad distracted driving instead of trying to screw over someone that had 1.5 glasses of wine at dinner on their way home at night.
