The Yom Kipur (or October) War of 1973 ended Golda’s career.
She was a fascinating woman. Born in Ukraine, raised as an American in Milwaukee, she was as big a driving force — though she’ll never get the credit — in the founding of Israel as David Ben Gurion. Before Israel was a country, she was the leading fundraiser in America for “The Jewish Agency.”
The 1967 Six Day War filled Israel with hubris. Golda had the bad fortune of being Prime Minister in 1973.
I counted four cigarettes in just the first minute of the preview. No way am I seeing the movie.
But thanks, Kingfish, for covering the screening. After Israel's handling of the "Pandemic", we need a good film for restoring our faith in our people's homeland. But this apparent Cigarette Training Film will not be it.
8:09 you plan to skip the movie because of cigarettes? silly

Yes. In fact, after counting four cigs in the first minute, I didn't bother to finish watching the preview.
