Hinds County Court Judge Johnny McDaniel denied bond for Beth Ann White. She is charged with two counts of Aggravated DUI – Death.
The defendant allegedly killed Allison Conway and her baby when she crashed into them on November 1 on Highway 18.
White is represented by attorney Kevin Camp.

That white woman probably wishes she was dead right now. Last night must’ve been hell after lights out. And it is only going to get worse.
5:24, based on her history, it was made worse because she didn't have the opportunity to have a drink. Or two. Or three.
I know innocent until proven guilty but Kevin Camp needs prayers!
I get the impression that Beth Ann White is privileged because she has money. Who the hell is she or what’s the big deal about this particular person? Is she kin to someone prominent? Charge her and move on.
White lady in custody of Hinds county, and her last name is White. She’ll be found hanging from a cell soon enough.
If I understand the law here, she can receive 25 years for each death and injury she caused. That could total 100 years sentence. I think they should show compassion, be lenient, and give her 98 years, with parole eligibly in 92 years.
Wait, no bashing and blaming Marshand on this post yet? There is a God……
8:30, there definitely is God, and this woman's drinking problem is all Marshand's fault for not doing something about her when he was a councilman.
While the loss of life from this woman’s actions is utterly tragic and she must be held to account for her actions, the glee of some over her punishment is itself sick. She has an illness and doesn’t get a pass as she chose to drink and drive due to her illness. But there should be no joy in seeing her punished. The whole thing is just sad.
wait...no bond on a car accident but you can SHOOT people in broad day light and GET A BLESSING if you are not a Mr. or Mrs. "White"........
I’m no lawyer. So, I don’t really fully understand bail. However, every time I don’t understand letting some murderer out on bail, someone usually reminds me that bail is to insure the person comes back for the trial - that it isn’t about the person being too dangerous to let out of jail. So, if that’s true (which I don’t know it is), why is she a bigger flight risk than some drug dealer murderer who essentially lives off the grid and doesn’t have any real attachment to anywhere on earth?
Ding ding ding!!!!!! 5:35 for the win
Mashawn showing up in the sally port trying to get political points off this tragedy is also sick. Between Hinds county and MHP I’m sure it will be a complete abortion of justice. You couldn’t pair two more inept agencies.
9:58,
She does have an illness and MDOC residency is the cure. She'll get 25 years for each count and they may be served concurrently or consecutively at the whim of the judge/prosecutor. Each count will probably have some portion suspended and she will get earned release for quietly serving half of that.
How do I know? I watched a known scumbag with a DUI-death conviction get 25 years, have 15 of it suspended, and then serve just over 5 years of the remaining 10 years before getting earned release. Now he's back home with a driver's license and just got popped by MHP for DUI last month *BUT* it's a DUI-first since the 5-year clock got reset while he was in prison for DUI-death.
Prison for these bastards is not about rehab, it's about keeping them away from us. Wake up people...
6:52 & 7:27
What we have here is a tragedy. She deserves what is coming to here and to pay for her negligence. Also, I feel terrible for the husband and family having to deal with her actions for the rest of his life with the loss of his wife and child, and other 2 children that are still in the hospital. However, the city of Jackson "finally got 'em one" and you are fixing to see the exploitation of that tragedy 10x's what Rham Emanuel talks about. The black political community is fixing to exploit this far more than any murderer of their own who has been blessed several times. I am in no way insinuating she doesn't deserve what is coming for her, but what I am saying is turn about is not fair play in Hinds County and the Mrs. "white lady" is fixing to be a prime example.
The shit really caught up with her! So sad. On another note you can shoot and kill many and get out with a blessing. I hope she gets Judge Green!
Say my name
She's not rich but simply a product of a really screwed up justice system and a problem drinker. No bail keeps her , finally, off the damn roads !!! She should spend the rest of her life sober and behind bars because SHE KILLED innocent people. Matters not how..why..when...race or handedness.
Kevin Camp also represented the last DUI multi-death case I remember from the Highway 18/Springridge intersection. Hopefully, this lady will get a sentence close to what Brett Prince received. https://caselaw.findlaw.com/ms-court-of-appeals/1861509.html
@6:52AM
Usually, during the arraignment, bonds aren’t set for individuals who’ve accidentally taken the lives of others, intoxicated while operating a vehicle, especially when there’s a history of DUI arrests.
Don’t worry, she’ll eventually receive a bond. Then you can return to the blog and ask “anonymously” why the judge gave her a bond in the first place? No one will ever know that you asked both questions.
Note: I just introduced you to politics.
Thinking of family's loss can bring a grown man to tears.
That Mr. Camp represents folks charged with DUI Death is irrelevant. I think people go to law school in order to do things like that. It's the job of an attorney, not a statement of his personal position on alcohol consumption.
If you drink and have ever driven yourself home, this could be YOU. Take Uber or Lyft, even a Taxi. Or purchase a house/condo within walking distance to a bar. It's more than worth the cost of a DUI or taking another’s life.
WOW...White lady this white lady that...y'all are obviously racists and I'm doubtful of any home training aka manners we're passed on to y'all at all !!! Are you really so crazy with hatred ?? Do you not recognize you are setting a horrible example for the kids in Mississippi ??? Your obvious hate for white people and your inability to share any sort of empathy for this woman or the horrible situation it is for everyone involved makes me glad I don't live in a city or state like Jackson, MS. Haven't y'all heard GOD DON'T LIKE UGLY IN ANY COLOR. RECOGNIZE.
6:30AM - Great advice. We've all probably driven when we shouldn't have. We now routinely Uber to dinner, parties, etc. And with the holidays coming up, please, please do the same if you plan on drinking.
