The Madison Police Department issued the following statement.
On 12/24/2025 at approximately 7:30 PM in the 1200 block of North Livingston Road in the City of Madison, MS, Investigators and officers of the Madison Police Department responded to reports of a possible burglary of a shed. Upon arrival, officers found a purse in a detached garage that the homeowner was unaware of. Investigators got the information off of the ID in the purse and asked Brandon Police Department to go to the address of the female to perform a welfare check. Brandon Police Department later told investigators that the female’s family had not had any contact with her since the night before.
With the assistance of the female’s cellular phone company and vehicle manufacturer, Investigators were able to locate her vehicle in the City of Ridgeland off of North County Line Road. The vehicle was still running with the driver door and back hatch ajar. However, there did not appear to be any foul play. With the assistance of Madison Police Department’s Drone Team, the female was located in the woods, unharmed, but in an altered state of mind. Ridgeland Police Department officers along with officers of the Madison Police Department were able to successfully get the female out of the woods.
Pafford along with family members responded to the scene where she was cared for and then transported by Pafford to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation.
Kingfish note: The woman was reported missing in Brandon. This notice appeared on social media:

Glad she is okay, but that is a weird set of facts?
The Christmas season places stress particularly to those already stressful. Bless all involved,
Meaning? She was having a medical emergency, and wandered-off, leaving her purse in a shed? OR: Someone attacked her and gave her a head injury - the attacker stealing her purse and leaving it in the shed? How far was the car from that shed? Madison is adjacent Ridgeland, so it might not be such a great distance.
@8:19 -
Certainly raises a lot of questions.
This may not apply here, but Type 2 Diabetes generally goes undiagnosed. Even physicians report having had "raging Type 2 Diabetes", which standard tests had not revealed, and so they didn't know they had it. A combination of sleep deprivation and SUGAR/carbs, can send someone with Type 2, into a Diabetic Fugue State.
Sugary Christmas "treats", plus the sleep deprivation caused by all those Christmas programs for the kids (plus all the extra running-around - on top of one's usual stressful workload), can easily trigger what I've described.
May I recommend Dr. Georgia Ede's book: 'Change Your Diet: Change Your Mind' ?
I realize the photo was posted on social media, but see no (positive) reason for KF to have posted it here. (Keyword 'positive'). Especially since she was no longer missing when it appeared here.
Wearing those Elvis sunglasses. No wonder she went missing.
Good Lord, you've been watching way too many murder shows.
Possible, but unlikely.
I don't understand why this woman and her family are forced to deal with having this situation put on blast here after she has been located and is receiving medical assistance.
I'm happy to see this. Merry Christmas to all, even the trolls!
Because it is suspicious and a possible kidnapping. Strange things happen at Christmas. Was she abducted from Target?
I come here to find out things that are going on in the community that WLBT won’t report. The local media will wait several days or weeks when it involves a white woman from the suburbs.
