Before we left there was two guys in a silver car and one was taking videos of himself with his pistol and they met up woth like 3 other guys who walked from towards advanced auto. they all looked like they where friends. there wasnt anyone else there we came home and had to come back because we forgot to stop and get drinks from quick trip was like 5 mins in time. So it just doesn't make alot of sense I guess.

When the gas stations proudly display “KRATOM”, “HOOKAH” and “CBD” in the windows among the hundreds of other sketchy barely-approved-if-approved-at-all products on the shelves, they are destined to draw a bad crowd. Not saying that’s the cause of this particular case but certainly not something you want at your local gas station. The future of our country is mighty frightening. On Northside Frontage Rd there is now a “KUDZU Cannabis” store… terrifying to see so many of these stores popping up across the south… Thank you Lord for Mayor Mary and her efforts to curb this nonsense by whatever means necessary!
This appears to be happening almost every day. Not the best start for the new Mayor. I don’t know how you change the culture.
It's not the gas station that's the nuisance -- it's the thuggery.
Before the birthday party shooting two days ago, there had been 2 homicides the entire previous month. Horhn can only do so much, but homicide is still down +\- 45% from last year and +\- 70% 2023.
All this newly found mayhem in NE Jxn was inevitable. We knew it was coming. We moved.
Oh good grief ...this is so "northeast" as to be Ridgeland in short order. Gas stations open late at night in areas where everything else is closed are risky all over the nation. Grow up people.

It's Good To Know That "Good Grammer" Is Alive & Well Down There...
9:00, and all this time I thought it was selling wine in grocery stores, or allowing liquor in Rankin County that was going to destroy society.
Just a few blocks from where my parents and I lived for most of 1983-2003. It was a nice neighborhood but changed right after my father died in 1995. My mother refused to move, so I stayed about 2 years after she died.
Keep up the good work, Jackson.

If they shut it down, where will all the high school (JA) kids buy beer?
Next?
The apartments at 5800 Ridgewood, East side, have been home to drugs, illegal gambling games and prostitution even 20 years ago. That the area's savages call it home is no surprise.
Well, 10:41, darlin', maybe if Rankin County had stayed Dry, it wouldn't have become attractive to what's been moving-in, in recent years.
Yep. Lochwood.
worked at dry cleaners and a dude run up in there shot from apartments across the street
That part of town started going downhill when they connected Adkins and Beasley and opened the interchange. That was back in the late 80’s or 90’s, I believe. Thank God we got out in 2002!
This is the Chevron Station that caters to the JA & Prep kids. That is a fact!
