All of the typos in the press release are ominous.
Hire lots of security as that parking lot is a target rich environment for Jackson's finest thugs.
Hard to imagine that Clinton's board of aldermen canned Prado as their economic development guy. He was Phil Fisher's guy and the lady alderperson led the revolt to have him replaced. Seems like he actually does know a thing or two about economic development.
pigs and lipsticks
Dicey crime location-
How much is budgeted for shot out windows?
Drury is a quality start group…they realized their mistake and exited the scene
It's just the perception of a risk of parking lot crime!
Something tells me this guy will do it right, use good contractors who will use good subs.... The last few hotels developed have carried alot of nasty horror stories. Rumors yea but when folks cannot pass inspections... ouch! Good luck to Mr Prada.
Ridgeland PD is holding down their side of County Line quite capably, thank you.
Thank you, 10:18, for stating the obvious.
The first sentence of the press release doesn't exactly impress:
"PraCon Global Investment Group, a Mississippi company headquartered in Jackson, has launched Prado Hotel in partnership with Chocie Hotels International..."
They might be big deal makers but when you can't spell the name of your master franchisor ("Chocie" lol) correctly, or more importantly, catch and correct the misteak it could make a person wonder.
Maybe they were too busy with something more important overseas?
"Misteak" when commenting on spelling. Bwa, ha, ha, ha,

Clearly that was on purpose, goober
I'm loving the obligatory "I hate Jackson" comments. You guys have one default setting—pessimism. If you don't like it, why not help? Get your churches, families, and businesses involved to make it a better place. It's okay to be happy when something good happens in Jackson.
