Aplos CEO Alex Eaton issued the following statement.
Jackson, Mississippi, January 31, 2023 – Aplόs Simple Mediterranean, a popular Jackson restaurant, announced Sunday plans to open a sister location at Renaissance at Colony Park in Ridgeland. The sister location recently signed a lease for a space on the green space near the Malco Renaissance Cinema and will begin construction immediately. The news of a sister location comes alongside the signing of a lease extension and expanded footprint at the restaurant’s original location in Highland Village. This Spring the Aplos Jackson will unveil additional seating, new bar, new technology among other updates at their Jackson- based store.
“We’ve received incredible support since we launched the original Aplos in Highland Village four-and-a-half years ago,” said Alex Eaton, CEO. “In fact, we’ve exceeded our expectations and now we’re ready to take on more by improving our current restaurant and expanding our reach…. It’s time to grow!” Eaton is a native of Ridgeland and group up just a mile away on Old Agency Road.
“We love seeing our designs flourish and multiply,” said Mary Sanders Ferriss Cavicchi, Principal Designer at Ferriss and Company Design Studio, a Jackson-based interior design and branding firm. “Working with an energetic visionary like Alex is a treat. Our team sees real success as he continues to grow his business footprint”

I'm delighted as we have enjoyed several delicious, healthy-ish meals at the HV location, and will now be able to visit more often as it's closer. Great gyros, pizzas, bowls, mezza plate. Between this and Keifers, we will be set for some great food on this side of the interstate. Sorry for the Yelp review, but this is great news.
Kiefers better step up their game. Aplos has a much better gyro.
Disagree on that one. The tuna dip at Aplos is really good. However, check out the burger at Krilakis.
Agree 100%. Different market and talking chains now but wish Jason deli and Outback could give it a try in Ridgeland Or Madison. Jackson kills everything.
Krilakis is legit.
7:52 is spot on.
Ate at Aplos tonight and Keifers earlier in the week and thought the exact same thing. Aplos feta is actually better than Keifers too.
Been a Keifers guy since 1988 and it’s good but Aplos is just a tad better imo.
There is more good about Krilakis than just the burger. I'm no fry eater, but their fries are great too. And the salads are great as well.
You can't have too many Greek restaurants.
100% 8:43pm
I need to try Aplos. As for Krilakes, the salad with gyro meat is my favorite meal in the Metro.
@8:44 please tell me you are trolling
Krilakis is the best. I love their salads.
best gyro meat on the planet is @ Volta in Oxford
IMHO, Keifer's on Poplar has been mostly inedible for over a decade. We eat at Aplos pretty much weekly (Friday night is family movie night, after all). YiaYia's Greek Kitchen gets my vote for best Greek-y food north of County Line. Krilakis makes a pretty durn solid wrap, though, with the fries inside.
I really liked Wraps before that anti-Semite decided to go full-on anti-Semite on the Beth Israel rabbi who had just moved to town. That place shut down soon thenafter, probably because they lost the business of YT Jackson-loving libtards like myself (JK, I think even the thin-skinned RINO-hating conspiracy theorists stopped going).
By my count that will be 9 Greek restaurants in Madison County. Most Greek restaurants per capita?
11:24, I am here for it. Weighing in on the reviews, don’t sleep on Filo’s in Gluckstadt.
Is Greek cuisine healthy? I ain't seen no skinny Greeks.
