This guy seemed legitimately upset and the senseless murder of two teenagers - two kids.

Who the hell knows how to stop this? But I can tell you 14 murders already in 2021 should mean heads role of elected officials. But I know it won’t. Sad but true.

My experience asks a simple question - what do teenagers in Jackson do in stolen cars?. Every crime imaginable. I bet some facts are going to come out to change your mind. Not saying they deserved the death penalty though

In Jackson people are forced to take the law into their own hands.
If the owner would have called the police when they stole the car several things would have happened. The first is the police would not show up. Second, no one would look for the thieves and the stolen car. Third, even if the police would have caught the thieves they would be back out of jail before the owner hung up the phone. Fourth, the thieves would return and shoot the owner.
If people care about the kids and do not want them killed the solution is easy. Do not raise a thief.

it's not white folks. it's not the klan. it's not white supremacists. it's not the police. it's not even racism, systemic racism or slavery. if it were, then explain to me why there are black doctors, black lawyers, black engineers, black scientists, black entrepreneurs, or black folks that are successful in whatever industry they happen to be in. it's other black males. other black males with no morals, ethics, values or respect for themselves or others. and it's a very small percentage of the black population causing this carnage. until that basic, simple fact is acknowledged and addressed, nothing else matters.

the damage caused by these murders is not just dead bodies either, it's all the people in the dead kid's life. moms, dads, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandmothers, grandfathers, cousins, friends, coworkers, and acquaintances. there's a lot of people hurting emotionally and spiritually every time someone is killed. for all the people murdered last year, there are thousands of people grieving. that's a lot of emotional and spiritual pain for the city that's losing it's soul.

my brother's vehicle was stolen in the middle of the night several years ago. the thieves used it to ride around and commit multiple other crimes before dumping it the next day. that seems to be the primary reason for stealing a car.

as for this incident; was this retaliation for stealing the car? probably not. but retaliation for something. these kids could have been the ones to kill somebody else that these shooters knew. just a big tit-for-tat, shoot one of us and we shoot back, kind of things. unless the shooters are caught, we will never know the real reason. and these shooters could very well be the next ones we read about that have been murdered, probably by some friends of these two dead kids. and the circle of death rolls on like a freight train.

I desperately don't want this to happen but in the end the state is going to have to take control of this to get the violence slowed down. The most hopeless part of this is if the 'city" was having an election tomorrow they would re-elect the same "leadership" or some very similar. It's a shame the majority of our medical community and our entire state government are located there, otherwise we could just nature take it's course.
