She is so dramatic. There are cameras that she had installed in city hall. It was the topic of one of the town meetings that went live on FB. She also just had a judgement entered against her for $2,700.00 for using someone’s credit card without permission. She’s just trying to take focus off the fact that she’s a thief! She stole from someone. If she would steal from an individual you can bet she would steal from the town.

She was in court last week for using a friends credit card and not paying it back. She plead guilty and has to make payments for the next six weeks. Bet she gets some church probably in Brandon to bail her out again. Husband gets a DUI ticket and she trys to tell the cop that she was driving. Kingfish check on her address now. Where is she living. Pelahathie might be the only town that allows their mayor to live in Jackson or Clinton to be Mayor.

This is really sad for all the comments posted concerning this, this lady has been under attack every since she has been in that office. Before anyone speak out of hatred ask yourself would it be different if it was your family under all the drama that’s going on? Also would it be different if another candidate won instead of her? Have watched many of the meetings and wondering what effect they have on the town because that’s who suffering, she seem to be concerned about the town but can’t go forward because it is more personal than anything. It is so out of content to put her and her family through what they are going through because the truth be told no one has a squeaky clean history or background but her’s seems to be the only one that is in the spotlight one thing for sure we all have to answer to a higher power and with that being said just be ready.

The reason the board keeps blocking her ludacris ideas is because she has absolutely no idea how to be a mayor. Mayors actually have very little say in what goes on in a town. It’s all ran by the board. They aren’t being racist they are trying to run the town properly. Furthermore, the reason they voted to decrease her pay to $250.00 a month is b/c the town is broke! They are having to pay out for numerous legal proceedings due to her! This has nothing to do with the color of her skin. It’s the fact that she has no clue how to legally run the town. She has single handily ruined a beautiful little town. I’m not saying she’s a bad person or that she’s even stupid. She’s just in a position that she has no clue how to do. The town has had several attorneys b/c she can’t get along with any of them. She claims that anyone who is white that doesn’t agree with her is racist. Racism is not an issue to be taken lightly. You don’t go around proclaiming it constantly when that’s not the case. It undermines those who have and are truly experiencing it. If she truly loves the town as much as she says she does then she needs to do the right thing and resign. Let someone who knows what they are doing come in and try to fix the mess she has created. Why are all three local TV stations still reporting this as a racial hate event and not reporting that the Pelahatchie Police Chief says it is not? Could they be thrilled that the mayor (not capitalized for a reason) is saying it is a hate crime?

The Chief has released the results of the investigation by the police department. The string ( It was a cord used to suspend a banner was not a rope) was put there about 6 months ago.
