This is amazingly uninformative.
Where was/were the burglary/burglaries?
Was else was taken?
Are there other suspects being caught?
A little behind on your news there, 12:28?

Way to go, RCSD and HCSD! I'm glad to see another dangerous thug removed from our streets.
A press release that announces the arrest and incarceration of a suspected felon with zero mention of the nature, location or victims of the crime?
NO law enforcement agency performed any type of police work to locate this suspect....it was a phone call that told them where to go look. That's like the grown-ups helping the 1 & 2 year olds where to look for Easter Eggs.
6:48 That was my point in the first comment. It didn't exactly make the national news, and from this release I can't tell if it happened in Hinds County or Rankin County.
It doesn't matter. The objective of the 'press release' was to get the sheriff's name in the paper. Objective accomplished.
Press releases are released to, ah, the press. The press does what? They print and circulate stuff. People issue releases so they will be printed by the people who print stuff. Has anybody ever (a) issued a self-denigrating press release or are they (b) usually self glorifying?
Hold on....You don't reck...naw...can't be.
