The only way to stop habitual criminals from habitually committing crimes is (especially when the have multiple offenses) when they are arrested for a crime PUT THEM IN JAIL AND MAKE THEM DO THE TIME . There are no short-cuts or easy ways out !

Does she really need to parade around to hear everyone’s concerns? She should do what she was hired to do, make Jackson safer. Jackson needs action, not a lot of talking.

Yes, she does need to go out in the community to hear everyone's concerns and integrate into the community. That is foundational to accountability. Our police force being tied to our community is a good step.

I was under the impression that to be hired as chief of police you would already know how to do the job. Asking the people who are committing the crimes how to prevent crimes does not sound like a very smart thing to do.
