A Goon Squad victim is in trouble with the law.
The Louisiana State Police arrested Eddie Parker yesterday and charged him with several counts of narcotics violations, felon with a firearm, illegally carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of a controlled substance.
No bond has been set for Parker. He is currently held at the Madison Parish jail.
The Goon Squad tortured Parker and Michael Cory Jenkins in 2023. The five former Rankin County deputies are several various sentences in federal prison.
Rankin County settled a lawsuit filed by Parker and Jenkins for $2.5 million earlier this year.
Parker was arrested last year for domestic violence in Rankin County. However, the victim did not wish to prosecute the case.
Kingfish note: So let's get this straight. Parker gets $1.25 million (before attorney payout) and is out dealing drugs (allegedly). He probably saw the settlement as an investment in his street pharmacy operation.
Oh well, needed an excuse to run to the daiquiri shop anyway.
UPDATE (1:55 PM): Louisiana State Police provided more information.
LSP troopers pulled Parker over at mile post 184 after they observed him committing multiple traffic violations as he traveled east on I-20 in his BMW. The violations included speeding and illegal lane usage. After approaching Parker, the troopers smelled a marijuana odor emanating from the vehicle.
They arrested him and conducted a post-Miranda search. A trooper found a baggy of meth in Parker's back pocket. Parker admitted it was meth. The police also found marijuana, cocaine, and two firearms.
The Louisiana State Police charged Parker with two charges for possessing Schedule II drugs, one count of marijuana possession, one count of possessing methamphetamine,, felon in possession of a firearm, and drug paraphernalia.
Parker's bond was set at $205,000. The Madison Parish District Attorney will prosecute the case.

Here come the Goon Squad apologists in 4, 3, 2, 1...
Believe it or not law enforcement officers are employed to enforce the law, not to inflict punishment or brutalize persons who might later prove to be guilty of some misbehavior. If the Goon Squad's actions were accepted none of us are truly safe.
One side being wrong does not make the other side right. That seems to be a common misconception these days.
Most us never believed the goon squad was picking on innocent citizens. But law enforcement has to follow the law, or they are criminals, and should be prosecuted as such.
Are we supposed to be surprised? The Rankin County deputies were more than wrong, but they weren't terrorizing innocent people. No, the victims obviously didn't deserve to be shot or sodomized, but they were all very well-acquainted with the justice system (and not as jurors). Recidivism is real.
Anyone who thought he was a victim was the bigger fool.
Maybe, but you sure are first in line of the drug dealer apologists.
This goon squad was a stupid click of closeted gay sadists. They could have simply done their job and proved a case against Parker. Gather evidence and prove in a public court that he’s a drug dealer. Catching drug dealers is not as complex as The Wire. Why do our job? We can just beat them and put stuff in their butt!
Y'all, if it weren't for drug dealers where would we get our drugs?
Lol. I’m not a goon squad or drug dealer apologist, but welcome to reality kids. It’s a game of cat and mouse out here.
That money went up his nose and in his arm, plus all of the long lost relatives who wanted their cut.
The real crime here is the lawyer getting 30-40% of the $1.25 million.
Hope Louisiana keeps his sorry ass. Sure he's gonna cry brutalities.
Looks like the old slogan "Crime doesn't pay" is antiquated.
Maybe the Madison Parish Sheriff's Office will demonstrate for the Rankin County Sheriff's Office how to effectively take a drug dealer off the streets without violating his civil rights.
They damn sure were not helping the innocent people. Several years ago I had a man point a rifle at me and say he was going to shoot me. It all was on film. I called the sheriff's office. I have yet to hear back from them.
Imagine my shock!
If the closeted torture hadn’t have occurred, he’d still be in jail?
Don’t bring your kinks to work, people.
Guy’s alleged crimes are still way less severe than what was done to him
Drug dealers are supposed to be blasted to oblivion by drones, not tortured by sheriff's deputies.
Simple.
Even if he is a drug dealer he didn’t deserve what they did to him. Law enforcement should pay for there own law suits not tax payers
If you have a gun and a badge your above the law
I've had people argue with me contending that crime is largely due to poverty/need. Well this case blows that theory right out the window.
The goon squad's actions were terrible. They deserve what they got. I'm not sorry for them. However, the two victims were pieces of trash and drug dealers. One had a felony arrest warrant out for him before all that happened. They were drug dealers before, and it appears at least one was a drug dealer after. The most shocking part of this is that he was in a BMW and not a Dodge Charger of some variety or Chrysler 300.
2:05 - AOC has entered the discussion. Where the do you think law enforcement gets it's funding? It bothers me that people like you vote. But yes, definitely uphold their civil rights - what happened to them was inhumane and none of us would want that happening to ourselves.
This guy's running around with over 2 million dollars of your tax money while you're paying your share of taxes and struggling with inflation, just the same. Don't be mad though!
Well well well. Guess our sympathies lied with the wrong side last year
You know they sleep together in that glass house. It just goes to show you that they will never do right no matter what they have. It's never enough. It never will be. No shame only entitlement.
to 1246
sorry tough guy
practicing law is not and never has been a crime.
tell us........what do you do for a living?
im willing to bet you dont do much.
I hope they impounded his car and seize it. Some people don't think hell is hot but, this mofo is about to get another lesson in acting a fool.
Were the goons actually gatekeepers?
Mr. Parker can now spend freely at the commissary.
Maybe Angola will be his new home.
Um, it was satire. Maybe you could get a sense of humor. They sell them on Amazon.
Maybe I’m back on Team Goon Squad at this point?
That's why he got a cap bust in him! It's a shame that criminals can sue anybody.
His defense will be PTSD caused by the Goon Squad. You read it here first on KF.
He ain’t gonna like Angola.
"The real crime here is the lawyer getting 30-40% of the $1.25 million."
Because Mr. Parker could have handled that all by himself with the help of AI, right?
Will Malik Shabazz and Trent Walker still represent him?
