An Alabama father took his family on safari and had a close encounter with some dangerous wildlife.
What upset the woman so? The man was driving his family through Atlanta when she struck his vehicle and kept going. He followed to get her license plate number. She didn't take too kindly to said actions. However, she was not shot. The Atlanta News reported September 18:
The bond for a woman accused of pulling a gun on a family after a hit-and-run incident has been set at $40,000.
Christolyn Momon allegedly hit an Alabama man and his sons in their car while they were on a day trip to Atlanta.
Video shows the man, Brandon Parker and Momon get into an altercation. Momon allegedly pulled out a gun. As Parker wrestled the gun from her, a shot can be heard going off in the video.
The shot did not strike anyone.
“So you really don’t have time to think. It’s really just a respond type situation,” said Parker. “Everything I did was to keep [my kids] from getting shot. So I’m watching the gun the entire time. I’m able to kind of hip toss her and slam her head into the concrete. When I do that, it knocks her unconscious. I’m able to get the gun.”
Parker said the woman regained consciousness but escaped before police arrived. Article
“So I let her go. You know, I stopped because self-defense only goes so far. It’s not self-defense if I’m trying to chase her and grab her and pin her down,” said Parker. “But thinking back, you know, I should have made some different decisions, because it could have cost my child.”
Momon has been charged with two counts of assault, cruelty to children and possession of a firearm.

If this happened in Hinds County, they probably would've charged the white dude. I also think he must be off duty LE.

The fatigue is real. I just came from Atlanta, parts of it are a cesspool. People literally using the bathroom on the street in front of kids, planned parenthood confronting you as you leave the aquarium, etc.
Some outcomes are quite satisfying.

I don’t know if they booked her with felon in possession of a firearm or not, but I know the next time they catch her with a gun, she will be booked with a felony possession.
