The Capitol Police issued the following statement.
Capitol Police arrest two juveniles in connection to over 20 auto burglaries in Jackson

Within just a few hours, Capitol Police officers spotted the stolen vehicle traveling on Pear Orchard Road and conducted a traffic stop. The driver and passenger, both juveniles, were wearing clothing matching the descriptions of the subjects, and stolen items were recovered from the vehicle. The two were apprehended at the scene with no further incident.

if they only knew how to lock their cars.
I guess that their high school isn't back in session yet, or employer gave them today off?
I bet the two juveniles were upstanding young men who just had a desire toward a higher education.
Sucks that this happened but man, how refreshing is Capitol PD? Hopefully people will learn to keep their mischief out of their district.
What did Hohrn call the Capitol Police? A “necessary evil”. Lord help Jackson
Meanwhile, JPD taking a nap.
Attn. 10:52 a.m.,you don’t “break” into an unlocked automobile.
youths on a path to feralhood-
Is it my imagination or have the Capitol PD expanded their patrol range responsibilities? Good job!
No matter. The Hinds County justice system (I use that term loosely) will train them that there are few if any consequences for criminal activities.
Good job, Capitol PD!
If you lock your car in Jackson, you end up paying out the ass for broken windows.
"Breaking and Entering" has nothing to do with broken windows.
I believe July 1st their jurisdiction increased to county line road.
Auntie: They are gooda boys and just needed a car to get to bible study.
July 1st it extended to Northside Dr.. Probably further north in the future. County Line area needs it.
@1:40. The problem is that the number of Capitol PD officers hasn't increased. If they keep up the expansions, their response time will be as bad as JPD's. What made CPD so appealing at first was that they saturated the initial CCID because they had lots of officers for a relatively small area. They could probably use another 100 officers to police their entire area effectively.
Who funds the CP?
Lemme have your home address. Hopefully one of your doors or windows will be unlocked someday and I can help myself to the free goodies inside.
Because hey, if it was not locked so...no crime right?
